The addition of a new friend is guaranteed to enrich the daily lives of your Sims! Not only will players have the opportunity to choose from a variety of existing breeds, and hot...
more...designer mixes, but they'll also be able to personally design their new friend with the Create-a-Pet feature. The ability to customise gives fans the opportunity to create their ideal pet by choosing their body shape, unique markings, even their pet's personalities! With so many different animals to choose from, there's no telling what unpredictable experiences could occur! Players will also be able to teach their pet new tricks, take them for a romp in the park, outfit them with new pet accessories and even give them a job! As in real life, your Sims' pet will require care and training. A neglected cat with an urge to scratch might claw up your new couch if you aren't careful, and leaving your dog unattended near a freshly planted flower bed probably isn't wise! Features: Sims Have New Friends - Pets! Sims can share their lives with their new pets and add more fun to the Sims experience. From dogs, cats, caged animals and more, your Sims share new friends to experience life's precious moments. With so many different animals to choose from, there's no telling what unpredictable experiences could occur! Create-A-Pet - Choose from dozens of dog and cat breeds or customize features for a one-of-a-kind pet. You can even modify your pet's body shape by choosing from specific colours and unique markings. Don't like the way they act? Change their personality - from smart and sweet to silly and sloppy - anyone can create their ideal animal friend in The Sims 2 Pets. "Sit, Spike, Sit" - Your Sims can encourage and discipline pets, training them to shake, roll over, play dead, and more. Unruly pets might dig in the yard, claw the sofa, or topple the trash. Thankfully, a little training can go a long way. Classic Sims Open-Ended Gameplay - Create and control digital characters over a lifetime, setting their goals in life from popularity and romance, to fortune and family- their stories are in your hands. Share unique Pet unlocks - Use special codes to share unlockable pet accessories, fur types or markings with other The Sims 2 Pets players. Stroll the Central Town Park - Take your Sims and their pet for a romp at any of the nearby park areas, or head to the Central Town Park which is a favorite of pet owners. While there, watch your pet play well with others while your Sim can meet others and socialise with fellow animal lovers. Shop 'til you drop - Visit the adjoining Town Center, a great gathering spot for Sims that evolves over time. Once you've seen the latest styles and decided on a purchase, deck your pet out in the latest clothing and accessories around. From geek to chic and cool to casual, your Sim can customise their pet's look with one stop in the Town Center. It's sure to be the coolest pet in town!

Sims 2 Pets - Helping People Everywhere Sleep
Review of The Sims 2 Pets (NDS) by purplifried

Advantages: You can turn it off
Disadvantages: Boring with rubbish graphics

...earned cash. The cover on the box looks good and enticing enough to make you buy it, but the first thing you will notice when you turn the it on is the poor poor graphics, which is really bad considering the DS graphics aren't meant to be out of this world in the first place. As usual you make your sim look how you want and then you pick you pet be it a cat or a dog. Once the game starts there's a bit of reading to do for each menu to help ... Read review

Not The Sims You'll Be Expecting!
Review of The Sims 2 Pets (NDS) by ghostchoir

Advantages: Nice graphics
Disadvantages: Not the Sims, boring, repetitive

I picked up The Sims 2 expecting it to be a portable version of the PC game I love so much. On reading the back it didn't seem to be so, but didn't exactly state what it was. The Sims 2 for DS really isn't anything like the Sims at all, the only simularity in the game being the design of the characters. If you are picking up this game expecting the traditional Sims formula - create a Sim, watch them interact with others, form relationships, etc ... Read review

Not at all what I expected from EA Sims
Review of The Sims 2 Pets (NDS) by AnthW

Advantages: Very simple,
Disadvantages: Minimal instructions, limited game play, poor graphics

...this simple and brief. I found the game, initially, somewhat confusing. No written instructions made for a slow start. All instructions can be found in menus on screen and they don't really give that much information anyway. For example, COOKING. What a nightmare! My Sim didn't eat a good meal for at least a week. It's not easy cooking sim food in a wok over a cooker you can't turn on and off. That said, it is fun following and creating receipes. Unlike ... Read review

Sims 2 : Pets
Review of The Sims 2 Pets (NDS) by rayla

Advantages: Simple
Disadvantages: Gets boring after a while, graphics arn't very good

At the start of the game you can create your own Sim, much like other versions, you can choose your Sim's hair/clothes, although there are not that many different choices. You also get to create your own pet; a cat or a dog. In the game your Sim is a vet. You need to set up your own clinic and treat ill pets that have either: worms, fleas, flu, broken bones, are smelly, are unattractive, or who have swallowed something. As in other Sim's games, ... There Is No Point To This Game
Review of The Sims 2 Pets (NDS) by ItalianFran92

Advantages: Erm...
Disadvantages: Poor graphics, boring concept

I love, love, love the Sims 2. I play it on my PC and DS but I have to admit this game was a disappointment. It cost around £19.99 which was a complete waste of money. The cover is the same as on the PC case (and the PC game is good but after all it is just an expansion, the DS game stands alone). The thing that struck me was the poor quality of the graphics. They were certainly a let down. Firstly, you must make your Sim and they select its pet (which ... Read review

Sims 2 Pets - BORING!
Review of The Sims 2 Pets (NDS) by RoseannaFloyd

Advantages: hmmm
Disadvantages: boring, repetitive, complex (and I love the Sims games!)

I love the Sims but I have to say that this game is not good. I think it is aimed more for ages around 12 for the things that you have to do in, ie the level of intelligence the game is aimed at, but the level of complexity to do a simple thing on it, it is aimed at ages around 25! You are a vet in the game and you have to cure sick animals. Sounds fun? Well, a customer comes into your vet and you have to see what is wrong with the animal. To do ... Read review

Advantages: You can turn the game off
Disadvantages: Poor quality, confusing, boring

...for christmas, and as i have the Sims classic & Sims 2 for the PC i thought i would enjoy this, The basic aim of the game is to Care and look after your sims setting goals & making friends however, you are also a Vet and have to care for and tend to your animals & the customers. You also have the opportunity to train & disipline your pets and sell pets/accessories to other sims to earn extra simoleons. however the graphics are very poor on this ... Read review

Sims 2 Pets NDS - RUBBISH - BAD - HORRID
Review of The Sims 2 Pets (NDS) by frankie_loved

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: alot, graphics, no fun, annoying the list goes on

This is one of the worst sims games ever, stupid graphics, rubbish characters, stupid idea its just boring boring boring and bordom. I can't stand it, i got the game last christmas and after a few days the novilty was gone and i have not touched it since. There is nothing to do with the animals and you can hardly take control of the sim so you just get annoyed, because it needs to pee, then an animal comes, need to eat, need to do this, need to do ... The Sims 2 Pets
Review of The Sims 2 Pets (NDS) by emmathevampire

Advantages: The animals are cute
Disadvantages: The graphics, The limited game play

...am a big fan of the sims PC series', but I must say I was slightly dissapointed with this installment. My first impressions were that the graphics weren't great, but I'm just a sucker for cute animals so ignored them. At first I found I couldn't put the game down, this may have been because I had nothing better to do, lol. After playing the game for a couple of days I managed to get to the top promotion then discovered that there was really nowhere ... Read review

No longer alone
Review of The Sims 2 Pets (NDS) by Punkgirl656

Advantages: Taste
Disadvantages: none

...it's that triangular chocolate with the nougat bits in. A lot of people were introduced to Toblerone as a present from people returning from abroad as this is the main place consumers can find Toblerone. But it has now reached most supermarkets and even some corner shops. The best selling Toblerone is the milk chocolate but this could have something to do with it being harder to find the dark chocolate and the white chocolate Toblerone's. A new limited ...
