Giving it the ol' College Try
Review of The Sims 2 University (PC) by ElapsedSpiral

Advantages: Interesting concept, adds interest to the basic Sims 2 game
Disadvantages: Can grow tedious

What is "The Sims 2"? For the few people out there don't know, The Sims 2 is a life simulator computer game which allows a single player to create neighbourhoods and families of humans (called "Sims") to go within them. It is up to the player to create, decorate and furnish a home for your Sims, and then, control the course of each Sim's life for better or worse. The success of the Sims has stemmed from its "no rules" feel. There's nothing ... Read review

All 'Growed' Up...
Review of The Sims 2 University (PC) by Majiggy

Advantages: Great graphics, hours of fun
Disadvantages: Addictive!

The Sims started off a new phenomenon when it first appeared on the PC scene back in the year 2000. For consistent years it has been the 'Number 1 Pc game of all time'. Electronic Arts games certainly prides itself on that particular fact. The Sims was a worldwide hit, and with the ability to create whole families, build homes for the sims infested areas, and take control of their lives from day one, proved a popular concept. And indeed, those ... Read review

Make yourself comfortable...
Review of The Sims 2 University (PC) by emmie2409

Advantages: Allows you to escape reality like never before!
Disadvantages: You may forget about reality a little too much...

...and shamelessly scribbled cheats from the internet in front of me, I have decided to break free from the magnetic suck of The Sims 2 University just long enough to draw the rest of you in.... Let's start at the very beginning: Once you have installed the Sims University and you enter a normal neighborhood, you will be prompted to choose a University for it. You get a choice of 3, all with different features, or you can make your own from scratch! If ... Read review

Another brilliant expansion pack from Maxis!
Review of The Sims 2 University (PC) by flutterby13

Advantages: Offers a pretty realistic approach to university
Disadvantages: Stops the other generations and time doesn't follow properly

...you already have. So, with the university expansion, not only do your sims get the university experience, but you get a whole host of new items, such as new furniture, outfits and places to go. The brilliance of this expansion is its close reality to the real life university experience. Your sim gets to choose its Major, and works on their assignments and goes to lectures in order to get the best mark possible. When you decide that your sim ... Read review

The Sims 2 Comes Up Trumps Again
Review of The Sims 2 University (PC) by Luvlylana

Advantages: Adds a new dimension to the original platform game
Disadvantages: Very time consuming to achieve results

So you bought The Sims 2, and though you were hooked for a while, you began to lose interest a bit and released that you do actually have a life of your own to run, instead of spending all your time ensuring the happiness of your Sims families. Time passes by, and you enjoy the benefits of a social life, and then... like a bat out of hell, The Sims 2 University expansion pack bursts on to the scene. "Oh no!" I hear you cry! Just as you had reajusted ... Read review

...adds a whole new neighbourhood, the college neighbourhood to the the game. On the sims 2 deluxe there is an icon for this neighbourhood although it doesn't load unless you have this expansion pack. The main thing this pack allows sims to do is go to college - teenage sims can go to college where they become young adults, a new stage of life introduced to the game with this pack. This life stage only happens to sims going to college though, other ... Read review

...been living under a rock?) The Sims is the bestselling simulation game series from Maxis, a subsidiary (is that the right word) of Electronic Arts Games. Other titles include Sim City and Sim Rollercoaster, but the original Sims game was, apparently, the biggest selling game of all time, for outperforming their other simulation games., and spawning a multitude of expansion packs (inlcuding Livin' it up, Makin' Magic and Hot Date to name a few) ***System ... Review of The Sims 2 University (PC) by stormdreamer2004

Advantages: The Sims University Pack brings a whole new generation to the life of your Sims.
Disadvantages: No disadvatages that I can find in the expansion pack at all.

...to me because I have the first addition and this, as it is made to do, expands the enjoyment I already have as a Sims2 Player. I am thrilled that my Sims now have a whole new dimension to life. They can now study hard in School ... not just to stop them from being taken away to Boot Camp anymore, But to get them a good line of scholarships in preperation for University. Your Sims with enough scholarships can enter the local Sims University with ... Read review

Review of The Sims 2 University (PC) by ncfcanna

Advantages: Lots of new features
Disadvantages: Can be slow

This is the first Sims 2 expansion pack, I made sure that I pre-ordered so it arrived on day of release. I always keep up to date with The Sims 2 news etc. and I really liked the sound of this expansion pack and I wasn't disappointed. PRICE; I ordered off the Internet for £14.99, this was the main price around England, and I thought it was great value for money. PACKAGING; With it being in a DVD case, it takes up hardly any space, and can ... Read review

A sims expansion pack
Review of The Sims 2 University (PC) by dramaprincess

Advantages: Adds more gameplay
Disadvantages: Takes longer to load pages

Fantastic game! With the sims 2 University there over 125+ new items. There is now a new stage of life, a young adult. To become this your teens will have to go to college and while they are working through their semesters, your sims back at home will not age (unless of course you play them). One of the awards sims can now get is a Cow Plant. This cow plant will eat your sims by luring them with a piece of cake. Once a sim has been eaten, other sims ... Read review

Degree or no degree?
Review of The Sims 2 University (PC) by funkygreenpixie

Advantages: more items/scenarios, more control, and a boost to romantics, socialites and wannabe geniuses!
Disadvantages: not exactly speedy, baby boomers cant have kids as soon as they'd like!

The Sims 2 is a fantastic game but sometimes players need to inject a bit more excitement. This extension kept me well entertained, as it gives a sense of further control over your sim's life and a sense of achievement is felt when your sim is in grad robes with a degree in his/her inventory! This extension pack really helps those who tend to opt for popularity, knowledge or romance aspirations. The chances of meeting (and kissing etc) new people ... Read review
