Advantages: Fun, easy to play Disadvantages: Addictive
I've been playing The Sims since shortly after it was released in 2000. When I was made homeless 2 years ago I lost my copy and I've only just got round to replacing it. I didn't realise how much I missed this game and so I decided to write a review about a game that I enjoy so much.
My game reviews tend to get a mixed re-action; I am going to write this one trying to take in to account all the, (quite often contradictory), criticism I have had ...

Advantages: fun, reality escape, lots of control Disadvantages: addictive,
I’ve never been the first to try a new game, always hopping on the bandwagon way after everyone else. Saying that however I’ve owned the Sims and played it for a long time, and only this weekend did I decide to reinstall it on my pc after a long long time.
Already I’m finding it’s taking over my thoughts. Instead of thinking what I need to buy at the supermarket this afternoon, I’m wondering how I can get my Sim to be in a better mood to get the ...

****The sims****
*Introduction*
The sims game for those who have not yet encountered it,is a simulation game where you simulate everyday life(continue reading for a more detailed discription).
The reason I have decided to write this op on the sims,is not just as it is fun and has playable gaming factor, but also to look at it in a very different light.Whilst it is unmistakeably a game,it has amazing educational value, something very often ...

Advantages: great fun, loads of expansion packs available Disadvantages: addictive
The Sims is a platform style game from the people who brought us Sim City and so on. Maxi Electronic Arts or EA are renowned for their simulation games, whether they do people cities or sports.
The SIms can be picked up for less than a tenner nowadays although there are new expansion packs being brought out every year. I know of seven to date, but there is probably more:
Livin It Up
Hot Date
House Party
Bustin Out
On Holiday
Superstar
Makin ...

But first some background, for those that have no idea what The Sims is (or are). Like any simulation game (yes, the name is imaginative isn't it?), you have a certain amount of control over a ...

That's right. The Sims lets you create a family, determine their personality, and then set them free into their very own simulated world. Whether they prosper or perish is completely up to you.

Once you have purchased the game, it's very easy to install. However, I have the Mac version, so it might be a bit different to a PC one. Make sure you read which computers it's compatible with very carefully, ...

THE IDEA
YOU are in control. YOU make up and destroy the rules. YOU have the power to change someones life with the click of a mouse.
Before people begin to worry about this game creating 'control freaks' who have plans similar to those of Dr Evil of Austin Powers to take over the world, let me get one thing straight: everything is virtual!

At first this game may seem pretty confusing but bear with it!
