...He’s always rushed off to the shop on a Sunday morning to buy The Sunday Sport, and that’s not all, he arrives home every day from work with his flask, his lunch box and the Daily Sport folded neatly under his arm. To be honest I think it keeps him sane, or his he just a pathetic male that likes to read outrageous stories and look at naked women during his lunch breaks.
I must admit I sometimes browse through it to see what wild stories ... ...been video taped using the rampant rabbit vibrater and they have it plastered on the middle page.
Well not to everyone’s taste but I defiantly get some smiles whilst reading some of the stories the paper includes in it.
So a bit about the layout. It always has an eye-catching title on the front-page e.g. Cilla Black topless inside. Or a story about a footballer whose having sex with a page three girl.

They will put a certain ‘spin’ on any kind of story. You’ll see headlines like “Coronation Street star in drugs bust” or “Soccer star in gang bang sex scandal”. ... ...is that the Corrie ‘star’ is some little known actor who had a walk-on part in the soap five years ago – and the drugs bust happened at a nightclub that he goes to occasionally and didn’t concern him anyway! The Daily and Sunday Sport are not exactly everyone's
cup of tea but for raising a smile this paper cannot be beaten.
The Daily Sport costs 40p so is slightly more expensive than most main stream papers however the Sunday Sport costs 65p which is more competitively priced but neither are going to break the bank.
They are titled Sport but only eight pages of the sixty odd pages mention sport, the vast majority of the paper is devoted to sex and ... ...to be a secret.
The Sport devotes a couple of pages to the going-ons at the courts and these are the few stories where there is a basis in fact. However even these stories are either sexually based or relate the story of how a highly intelligent southerner went looking for a gas leak with a lit match. The Sport is a 'news'paper aimed at the lowest common denominator. It is the anti-broadsheet tabloid- the logical polar swing from The Times or Guardian, and should be taken as such. The problem with The Sport, it would seem, is that is judged on the standards of the jounalism contained therein, where it should be judged as an entertaining diversion. OK, I am not disputing the fact that the Sport can be all of the things that everybody keeps saying it is, but there must be a market out there for it otherwise surely they would still not be in production. Now i don't tend to buy porn magazines myself (especially as i am a woman!!) and haven;t got a clue as to how much they cost, but surely the sport is aimed at being a light hearted spin off from a porn magazine, and its probably cheaper too!! ...

...coming across a copy of the inappropriately named Sport, I really had to question what the heck men who buy it get out of it.
The stories in it are obviously fabricated and if it werent so manky and sexist it would be hilarious! But, somehow I doubt men buy it for a 'laugh'.
It really should not be classed as a newspaper and certainly shouldnt be situated beside other newspapers - its front page staring at you from the newspaper rack of your newsagents ...

The Sport isn't so much as a newspaper but more of a comic, aimed mainly at men it has to be said.
There are some rather amusing little stories that the Sport can take credit for - such as London bus being on the moon, Elvis appearing the supermarkets and hitler still being alive, but that's about as far as it goes. It's about as pornographic as you can get without being on the top shelf - a picture of scantily clad women on almost every page.

The sport is waste of paper. I'm still trying to figure out why women pose for the sport. It's not the best selling paper, the audience that they reveal all to is not going make them famous, the only remarks that they recieve when their pictures are seen, are probobaly "look at that!", "I'd love to 'ave her". These are probably the only remarks that I can think of that are of a suitable language to write in my opinion.
The sport just degrades women, ... ...beings. The women that pose in this paper let themselves get degraded to such low levels, it's sad and pathetic. Do these women like degrading themselves?
The sport just represents the women in it as tools to keep the man happy. It has no benefits whatsoever for the reader, it's just a cheap, sad money making scam. The sadest thing is, people buy it.

...You guessed it. It was the Sport.
I preferred the early days with the bomber and London Bus on the Moon , and "Aliens Kidnapped My Son and Turned Him into a Fish Finger" headline. It's just a rag full of naked women , usually with inflated breasts , dodgy phone line numbers , and small ads for unspecified "services". The problem was when it went daily, because obviously, the just went out on the razz on Friday Night and thought up some mad stories ... ...- "So Has She Got The Fish Finger?").
It could be construed as sexist (it does have Sean Ryder and Bernard Manning as columnists) but I think thats just bad taste.
I'm sorry if this sounds like I know the paper, I don't really, honest. I take the guardian (on a Saturday) Really!!.
The sport is just a rag with a vague sense of humour and a lot of naked women.
I wouldn't recommend it, unless you've had a lot to drink, but it's still better than ...

Well, National News but the funny thing is, this supposed paper contains no news, except the likes of "DOCTOR BONKS PATIENT" or "COPPER LICKS OUT PRISONER" and so on and so on. The pictures, are also crap, and if its them you're looking for you'd be best off looking at page 3 of the Sun at least. If there was an earthquake in India, the "Doctor bonks Patient" would make front page news and the earthquake would have a small sliver of text underneath ...

The sport why do they bother? The news is well not worth seriously reading, and the tits are not even worth seriously looking at. Yes its comical but it doesn’t quite cut it because it is meant to be a newspaper.
