...best book and contains all the usual ingredients of war, love, friendship, betrayal and ultimate revenge.
Written in two parts, the book draws parallels between the central characters in an age gap spanning thousands of years. The love story is the central part of the plot (and I'll leave you to decide which love story as there's more than one) and tells the tale of betrayal and revenge although it has to be said there's a bit more to it than that. ...
