Advantages: An excellent, light humoured read Disadvantages: None
The Switch is an amazing book that makes you reflect on your own circumstances. It's about a wealthy boy who's control freak parents want him under watch day and night. It's this that drives him to one night wish that he was another person. The next morning, he wakes up to discover himself not in a georgian mansion but in a grotty stinking caravan in Great Yarmouth covered in dirt.
He has changed places with another boy and this is now his punishment. ... ...and finds himself being helped by his real wealthy father's charity. He finds that this charity carries out illegal testing on homeless kids and it makes him realise that his real father is an evil, spineless man.
This is a really good read, and parts of it are extremely funny. Suitable for children and adults even of all ages. ...
