Advantages: Entertainment - easy to read, a lovely flowing style Disadvantages: I WANT MORE!!!!
If you are familiar with the work of Alexander McCall Smith, you will already know Bertie. He is a precocious but endearing child who was introduced in the 44 Scotland Street book. He was one of my favourite characters in that book and I always loved how he seemed so much wiser than his parents...
