Advantages none steer clear
Disadvantages Your money is removed from your card and you have no chance of receiving the product
My rights as a customer were violated when the faceless wonder called Chris took monies from my debit card knowing he had no intention of sending the product paid for! There are two reviews on this site who are praising this company why? In my opinion they are connected to the fraudster. Despite numerous emails I have not had a reply, strangely enough when I enquired about the despatch of the perfume which was Kenzo Jungle, I received an email from Chris saying that he was waiting for fraud scores!!! Terrible Terrible Place. DO not buy from here under pain of death!!! They don't send the product, they don't reply to your emails. You can't call them. Worst online purchase I've ever made. I have sent an email to both Trading Standards and BBC Watchdog about them. I buy stuff online, al the time and have never had such an issue with anyone else. I hope they get shut down. I'm only giving them 1 star because thats the minimum you can give.

Advantages Prices and delivery
Awesome website. Placed my order on the 2nd March, received today (3rd). Now that's fast. Did not have to contact support so I cannot comment on that but I am very happy and will no doubt shop again. I also found the prices to be cheap and competitive and they seem to stock a lot of discontinued stuff. I will be recommending this website to all the colleagues at my office who buy lots of perfume. I ordered 30 September, apparently dispatched 1 October 1st Class recorded - now 15 October and still nothing arrived. Refuses to send replacement until 15 working days have passed and he can claim loss with Royal Mail. According to reviews on a similar retail review site, this has happened so often it makes me think that this is more than coincidence. Can Royal Mail lose so many items from the same retailer in such a short period? I would personally not recommend buying from this site.

Disadvantages It's a fraud
I can only repeat others' messages that this is a SCAM WEB SITE. Do not use this business. The process is that the proprietor ("Chris") states that the item has been posted, but of course it has not been. The item is then "lost by Royal Mail", so and Chris asks you to wait for the item to arrive. Only after this period will he consider offering a refund. Even then, he insists you wait 30 days. After the 30 days, the refund has not arrived, and only then, after further complaint, will he make the transfer. This is a repeated pattern of behaviour. First time customer and not a happy bunny!! Ordered some perfume on 9th Dec 08 and stillllll waiting for it The company has NO contact number and hasnt answered any emails i have sent them AVOID like the plague!!! You have been warned! Disadvantages it's like being mugged
My experience with "The perfume emporium" is the same as most on this site. I ordered some scent on 4th July. It never arrived . "Chris" offered to dispatch another order of the same or to refund my credit card. Like a mug I choose for "Chris" to send me another order. That didn't show up so he offered me a refund which hasn't showed up either. I have since reported all this to Barclaycard however having read this site I will be printing it off and reporting this company to the police for fraud. Ordered on Dec 5th, suppose despatch date of Dec 9th. Needless to say nothing has arrived. Have contacted them and was told usual rubbish. This is verging on fraud now as monies have been taken and no goods to speak of have arrived. Has anyone actually ever received goods from this site? DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE, YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE YOUR ITEMS.

I ordered some aftershave on 24 November 09 from this website and have had the same problems. I contacted them after a few days when the goods didn’t arrive, as I buy lots of stuff from Amazon and it always arrives promptly. I got the same messages – it’s been sent but must have got lost but please wait the eight days as referred to on the website. Numerous emails back and forth and I finally cancelled the order (plus my credit card) but was then told by Chris that it would take 30 days to get the credit on my card because of the Distance Selling Regulations. Very Very bad. Purchased as Xmas present. Had email to say perfume had been despached in early Dec. Despite several emails and a customer service ticket number did not have any reply to my emails or the delivery of perfume. Still to date have not received anything. Dun over like a kipper!!! Appaling service and had to pay for the privilige of the postage too!!! If you do not want to loose your money do not shop here!!!!
