Thierry Mugler has built up something of a reputation for creating particularly bold scents for both men and women. B*Men is effectively a sequel to distinctly different A*Men. Perhaps unsurprisingly, this is a fragrance for men and not unusually, it takes a remarkably fresh approach. Vaguely the shape of a hip-flask, it's virtually identical to the bottle used for A*Men only in different colours. Launched in 2004 as an alternative to the already popular A*Men cologne Thierry Muglers B*men is a fragrance that I have worn on and off over the years. A*Men is 'my' smell and is an aftershave that I wear pretty much on a day to day basis but as it is quite a heavy and has a very distinctive aroma (it's a musky, burnt wood fragrance) I do tend to wear lighter colognes in the summer months during the day and B*Men along with A*Men Summer Flash are the alternatives that I tend to go for.
