    What would a visit in New York be without a visit at the Tiffany & Co flagship store on Fifth Avenue. Situated next to Trump Tower at the corner of 5th Ave and 57th Street. The outside of the building will not give much away of what you are about to experience when inside. There are two entrances to the store, the main entrance in 5th Avenue with doorman to help you open the door or push the carousel door for you and a smaller door in 57th Street, more a side entrance where you can slip in and out unseen.     This is an opinion of someone who has had no choice but to become an aficionado on Tiffany & Co. If somebody asks me out of the blue what I think of Tiffany's they will probably be shocked by the growl and lunge for their throat. It's not that I don't like what they sell, or the designs they have launched on the world, it's the fact that my wife adores their Silver Collections. As a result each of our holidays to the states have resulted in trips to at least one of their stores, as well as those in London.     Advantages Advantages great jewellery

    When the film Legally Blonde was released i loved the film and whats more i loved the silver Return to Tiffany Jewellery that Reece Witherspoon wore in it. With that famous little blue box and white ribbon you know exactly what your getting. When i got my first full time job i was paid weekly and the first investment that i made was the Tiffanny sterling silver bracelet, which i love and have not taken it off in 7 years.     It's not easy going through life with your first name being "Tiffany". Whenever i'm introduced to someone it usually goes something like this; " Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Joe". "Hi Joe, nice to meet you too, i'm Tiffany." At this time, Joe is smirking. He may or may not realize his face is showing a smirk, but it's definatly a smirk. "Tiffany, eh?     Do you ever watch the TV and admire those stars walking the length of that red carpet boasting the most dazling, spectacular, eye catching pieces of jewellery, jewellery that most of us could only ever dream of.     I was most surprised to find that no one had written an opinion on Tiffany & Co, but then I have only known about this store for a few months. However, it is nice to be the first so here goes... Ah, Tiffany & Co, be mine! I love this shop and all the delights it contains with all my heart. Should I win the lottery I will move in. Permanent.     Disadvantages Disadvantages can take a veeeeeerrrryyy long time to be served, sales assitants aren't always as helpful!

    There's nothing like the feeling of buying jewellery- yes diamonds are forever and yes they would be cool if you have a rich partner, have just robbed a bank, made millions on a dot.com company or perhaps winning the lottery.....not got any of the above? then Sterling silver from Tiffany's is the next best thing (almost!) Recently I purchased a bracelet and matching necklace- sterling silver- £60 for the bracelet and £115 for the necklace.     Wanting to surprise my mother for her 50th Birthday (sorry to give your age away mum!), it was a joint decision between my father, my husband and my much younger sister that we should all go to Paris for a long weekend in July.     Dazzling jewellery can make you feel and look like a million bucks! It can enhance your looks dramatically. I like Tiffany & Co for this reason. Their pieces are exotic and exquisite to say the least. I love to adorn myself with their varied jewellery pieces. Even a simple outfit can be elegantly accessorised with their jewellery. I like their bracelets and pendants because they are very well designed and well crafted. The finishing is up to the mark. As a matter of fact, bad finishing can kill the overall look of an item.     My experience with Tiffany & Co. has been abysmal. Nine months after my engagement ended, I went to Tiffany & Co. in Toronto to see what I could do with my ring. I was told very curtly that "their policy" on return engagement rings was only valid for 6 months. Unfortunately, my emotional state was not one where I was interested in pursuing this further with Tiffany. My ex-fiance paid $11,000 for the ring.
