I am extremely dubious about hair products that claim to 'straighten', 'smooth' or 'de-frizz' my hair as 9 times out of 10 they don't work. I have very curly hair that even some hairdressers cannot straighten and after using this product whilst blowdrying my hair was straight until I next washed it. I don't normally go for luxury haircare products, but I find that this one is really worth the money. It looks great and stylish in the packaging, and lasts a really long time. As for effectiveness, I would definitely rate it highly. You only need a small amount (in fact too much will clump in your hair) to really smooth down the hair, and it also protects from the effects of blowdrying and straigtening quite well.
