Disadvantages Expensive, can make roots greasy

I can’t help myself but purchase new hair care products and I rarely stick to the same brand or product. My main problem is purchasing products from my hairdresser. Every visit to the hairdresser spells trouble and despite me telling myself before I go in for my appointment I will not be purchasing a shampoo or conditioner afterwards because they are overpriced and I can’t really afford to, I usually do. Advantages Does what it says, lasts forever, smells lovely
Disadvantages Only for dry/damaged or coloured hair

I've always had issues with my hair. Naturally, it's a boring mousey colour, frizzy and wavy. I wear it blonde and straight. This, historically, has not been a great formula for healthy hair. I've suffered for years with horrible split ends and dry frazzled hair that I couldn't wear "natural" because it would look so horrendous that I would need to wear a hat/paper bag/balaclava. Considering that curls, waves and movement are meant to be coming back, and my hair naturally has a great wave to it, this was a great shame. Advantages Lathers well, leaves hair clean and shiny
Disadvantages As with all Tigi products - the price!

As mentioned in my review yesterday, I received a Tigi dumb blonde set for Christmas which comprised of shampoo, deconstructor conditioner and smoothing stuff. This review is for their shampoo. I first mentioned that I would like to try this set to my partner as it had been recommended to me by a colleague at work who said it had transformed the condition of her hair and as I am not exactly blessed with the most gorgeous locks, I was hoping this range would provide me with the miracle I have been searching for! Advantages Smells gorgeous
Disadvantages Didn't work as well as I'd hoped with the conditioner

I have previously reviewed the conditioner for this shampoo which I think smells amazing and does wonders so when I saw this on sale for half price I wasn't saying no - or loosing out on a bargain. I had read a couple of reviews on the shampoo and all had said that it can make your hair feel dry when you use the conditioner with it - being that my hair isn't going to be the same as those I decided to give it a go anyway. Advantages gives you nice shiny hair and perseves colour
Disadvantages the usual price

Having a head full of bleached highlights can be very hard to maintain as is it very thick and feels like straw most of the time. I have my roots foiled every 6 weeks and half way through they can look very dull dry and rather yellow in appearance. I had to do something about this so I tried various shampoos and conditioners, I even resorted to putting tomato ketchup in my hair as my stylish informed me that it would eliminate the yellow tones. I ended up using this product after being to a swish hairdressers in the town. It is Tigi products that they use, and although they used this product to Wash my hair I ended up getting a small amount of this home with me as well. I'm not sure if Hairdressers get commission for selling branded products or that, but they are always asking if I want to buy any of the products. They aren't exactly cheap either. Since it is the same stylist I go to, I think she thinks if she gives me a little to take away and try then I can make my mind up and when I go back I may want to buy it. I liked the way my ... more

I was first introduced to this shampoo when I went to a new hairdressers. They recommended it for me along which some other bedhead products such as afterparty and I bought it. I wear hair extensions and it is regularly dyed. I find this is the only shampoo that doesn't knot up the extensions or my hair and brings out the best colour. My hair is always really soft, shiney and smooth after washing my hair. Advantages SUPERB SMELL, GREAT LOOKING BOTTLE.

** NOT JUST FOR BLONDES ** It was the smell that got me on this one, a young, fruity, fresh smell. Dumb Blonde shampoo from Tigi (bedhead) is a great little treat. I often wonder about the name because when I first saw it I though 'Oh, not for me then'. I'm a natural red head, and very proud of it! However, I spoke to the hairdresser and he explained it's not just for blondes, it's for anyone who wants to repair their hair and not just from colouring but from pollution, products, sun and chemicals. Advantages Smells gorgeous!! Lasts a long time! Leaves hair silky and soft!

Normally i don't spend this much on my shampoo, which is why i had to be bought this shampoo to actually try it. The bottle looks funky and its a great looking present for any blonde person you know, probably women though! The pump aciton top is also very handy for controlling your portion sizes during application, too many people use too much shampoo. It dries out the hair and there is no need even if the conditioner is for dry hair. The smell of this shampoo is gorgeous! Advantages Nice smell, brightens hair & easy to use.
Disadvantages Expensive.

I love this shampoo, it smells absolutely stunning, really fruity and not at all chemically. It always leaves my dry, bleached hair feeling really soft and shiny. It also keeps my hair that perfect shade of platinum blonde, whereas with other shampoos my hair would turn brassy or yellow-ish with time. I also love the bottle it comes in, not only is it pretty and pink, but it comes with a pump, which is a lot easier to use than having to turn over the bottle and squeeze. It is quite expensive compared to other shampoos on the market, but I find you really get your value for money with this ... more
