This was bought for my son as a present, which I was most grateful for when I saw the price, as it is a bit on the steep side at £44.00. My son has played on this since he was only a few months old and has been one of his favorite toys. I bought this gym from Mothercare when the twins were a month old. Although it was quite pricey at 40 pounds, Thomas and Naomi definatly got my moneys worth!!! This Tiny Love gym was bought for me when my baby was born. In the first month she HATED it. In the second month she either laid on it for about 3 minutes before screaming ,or realised I was about to place her on the mat as I lowered her and started screaming before I had a chance to. I bought this gym as it appeared to be one of the brighter and more colourful activity gyms and had lots of good ratings by baby magazines. It has a very good variety of hanging toys – rattling octopus with springy legs, a rattle dolphin, musical seahorse, rattle sun and rainbow, turtle mirror. I bought this baby gym for my 7 month old daughter when she was born. Up until the age of 5 months she was really interested after that it became boring. I thought that this was a bit of a cheat as it says that it is for children up to the age of 10 months. I now keep it in its bag as she no longer likes to play on it. Disadvantages: Fairly pricey as activity mats go.

I bought this activity mat for my son when he was about three weeks old as he was so alert and seemed to need a lot of stimulation to keep him amused. I chose it mainly for the brightly coloured range of toys and pictures on it, but also because it plays classical music or nursery rhymes when the mat is pressed in the corner.
