OK, you've just bought your TomTom GPS system and stupidly left it in your car to be stolen faster than a blink of an eye. OK, that’s just my stupidity, but after replacing my unit I decided that to ensure it was easy to carry around and would act as a subtle reminder I would buy a carry case. Looking around for the right one is a bit of a mission as there are so many different types available.
In the end I opted for the carry case shown at the ... ...importantly, and what keeps the TomTom from being damaged or scratched should it be dropped is the interior. In between the wool inner layer there is a soft rubber/sponge like material. Despite being able to squeeze the material between my fingers, considering the lightweight of the TomTom it is easy to see how it can provide so much protection.
