Advantages: Good Maps. Highly configurable Disadvantages: Slow inital signal pick up
We have had our TomTom 510 for several months, it was a treat to ourselves as we were constantly getting lost or turning up one way streets when finding hotels or going to for days out. We paid about £280 punds for it then (as we had some discount codes for PC World), you can now get them for about £260 before any discount.

The TomTom 510 is very feature rich but still really simple to use. Advantages: Easy to use, clear and concise directions, also acts as a hands free kit Disadvantages: none
The TomTom GO 510 gives clear concise directions accompanied by a map marked with the route you are following which comes in handy for those mini roundabouts that don't register on the map.
Put in your destination by selecting a favourite (a place pre-defined by you), an address (can be done by postcode or street address) a town or a point of interest and TomTom will get you there.
