Having borrowed my friends Tom Tom One and loved it, I decided to get my own. The unit is small and compact. In the box you get a USB cable, car power charger, windscreen mount and quick guide start. There is no case so you need to buy one separately but they are cheap on ebay. To start up you need to hold the button in for a few minutes and you get a cool Tom Tom drum sounds! TOMTOM ONE 3rd edition. I got my tomtom as a Xmas present last year, and wow what a present it was. I like to whizz off for weekends away with my daughter, somerset, Cornwall, London etc and I have always used AA route planner before, which was great, but reading whilst at the wheel isn't really that safe is it! I received the Tomtom one as a present as I like to explore different parts of the UK. Before getting this i would print directions off a website on the Internet. The Tomtom is so easy to use. Its fun as there are many different accent/ voices you can have it speak to you in as well as the voices already on the Tomtom you can download others from the Tomtom website as well as others features. You can set the Tomtom to alert you when you are near any 'Points of interest' that appeal to you, it alerts you to speed cameras, speed limits, receive up to date traffic information,it can find alternative routes it you coming across road blocks and plenty more. I would not like to go back to not having a Tomtom and hope to use it in Europe sometime soon. ...
