This little toy was possible the biggest revolution to happen to my driving in all the years since I passed my test. I had seen a friend use it and knew I was going to be happy with it. I bought the TomTom One some eight months ago. I had some experience of using a navigation system as my previous car had one built in and I became quite dependent on it.
Cost
I had bought a new Audi A4 sometime in 2003 and remember paying around 1000 Pounds extra for the built in sat nav system. It was a bad decision and would recommend you not to make the same mistake.

After years of planning routes via roadmaps and downloading dodgy directions from internet route-finders, I finally decided it was time to take the plunge and join the sat-nav revolution.
My friend bought his in the Summer of last year and he was constantly raving about how good it was. I could tell it must have been good because he used to have the worst sense of direction I've ever known and was constantly getting lost. Not anymore.
I decided ... ...going away over New Years and thought it would come in handy. I wasn't wrong! I bought the Tom Tom one from PC World for £159.99. I wouldn't be surprised if the price is down to closer to £100 by the end of 2007 as I have noticed that the prices do seem to be getting more resonable as demand has risen over the past few years.
It is incredibly user friendly. Even if technology scares you, this is so easy to use I'm convinced anyone could use it. ...

Have been using it for about 6 months now for work and it is a lifesaver!
Very accurate GPS navigation which has taken me to the footsteps of most of my destinations.
Uses either location/road names or postcodes to find addresses and route planning, however long your journey, takes very little time.
Occasionally takes me to the wrong road when I use postcode search but not always.
Picks up a GPS signal with 2 minutes of switching on.

The touchsceen is so much better than having hard keys, and leaves more screen space. Menus and setup are really intuitive and I needed very little time to self teach myself how to use it. Any wrong turns and the route is recalculated immediately

Quick review of TomTom ONE V2 Regional Great Britain
This product is the one to purchase if anyone is looking for something east to use and that dose not give problems. This product is much cheaper than many others and a great buy i still use nthe product to this day and in my recommendation i think everyone who is looking to buy a navigation system for the first time should definitely purchase this one. ...
