Advantages: nice size and shape, comfy to grip, chew on and so on. Disadvantages: bowl shape is just a little odd but doesnt stop baby getting the food off much.
Grandma bought these for my 6 month old boy to keep at her house and from my sons point of view they are a total success! However I am not so convinced. They are designed for 9m+ as they are meant to allow a child to hold them himself, however I found them just as useful for my younger baby- it makes no difference to me.
These come in nice colours, the pack of eight means that you can have several on the go, one for me, one for baby, one for the ... ...and one for my husband to eat his yogurt with.. you can never have too many spoons! My son loves to play with these and as they are nice and short, made of soft chewable plastic I am happy for him to do so whilst I get the food ready. He is just beginning to teeth, so chewing on the plastic seems to help relieve the discomfort a little. He is also learning how to bang them on the table in front of him which makes him laugh and giggle at being able ...
