Tommee Tippee Breast Pads My little boy was born on the 21/10/2012, the whole of my pregnancy I planned to breastfeed, however that wasn’t too be. I ended up with an emergency Caesarean section under general anaesthesia and a baby who needed a bit of assistance at birth, luckily everything is ok now. However, for the first 24 hours I was unable to successfully feed my little boy Jack as I was still quite tired from the long birth and then the Caesarean, I decided I couldn’t let him go any longer without a proper feed so I decided to try him on formula, he was slow at first but is now feeding ... more

Having Breastfed our first born Son and am now feeding our youngest Son, I favour disposable breast pads over washable pads. I am aware that washable pads are more cost effective as they are machine washable and that disposable pads are more costly and are not bio-degradable; however I find that they are much more comfortable to wear. Tommee Tippee disposable breast pads cost £2.69 for a pack of 50 pads and are part of the Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature range. The Closer to Nature range is designed in conjunction with breastfeeding experts and mothers and the breast pads have received four ... more

Advantages Advantages Soft and comfy, lightweight, absorbent, good value for money

I both breastfeed and bottle feed (expressed milk) and I've been using these pads for a good six months now - I used them everyday in the last month or so of my pregnancy and I have been using them daily since my five month old daughter Erin was born. This brand of breast pads was reccommended to me by my midwife and I am quite happy to reccommend them to other mums/mums to be as they're affordable and they do the job! These breast pads, like all breast pads absorb any milk that leaks out of the nipple, so they prevent any embarrassment/self consciousness and there's no worry of looking down ... more

Advantages Advantages good shape, very absorbant

    Disadvantages Disadvantages disposable

Tommee Tippee are one of the best products available. There are 50 in a box and about £3-£5 . They are soft and very absorbant with a tape strip to secure to your bra. They are slighlty shaped aswell for a comfortable fit. They are absorbant enough to last me about 10-12 hours before I need to replace them. I have been breastfeeding since day one and have found these to be the best. I have tried re-usable and had to replace them frequently during the day and they slipped when I slept. I tried a supermarket own brand of disposable and it felt like i had a towel in my bra. I realise they are ... more
