Tommee Tippee Closer to nature Bottles The moment I saw these bottles I thought that they looked really smart and as I had an Amazon voucher to spend I thought I would invest in a couple and see how they faired compared to the more widely used baby bottles made by Avent. I already had a few Avent bottles given to me from a friend and I just had to buy some new teats for them so comparing the two was easy. Advantages Durable long lasting.
Disadvantages Teat too soft for our baby

I purchased Tommee Tippee bottles after looking at all the brands and decided these seemed to be better quality than other brands. As called 'closer to nature' the teats are meant to be as similar as a teat can be to a nipple. I wanted to try breastfeeding but as going back to work and needing to leave expressed milk for my baby these sounded like a perfect product to combine bottle and breast. We brought a box of 4 bottles from Mothercare for approx £13.99 . Each bottle holds 9oz or 260ml and is made of a semi opaque plastic that is BPA free. Advantages cleans all kinds of bottles and teats, available in a wide rage of shops
Disadvantages broke very quickly so not great value for money

Tommee Tippee Bottle and Teat Brush One of the essential bits of equipment you are going to need if you choose to bottlefeed your child is a bottle brush. These are used to clean the hard to reach areas of bottles, teats and other feeding equipment such as a breast pump or formula storage containers. It is also recommended that as well as washing everything in hot, soapy water that you also sterilise all feeding equipment for at least six months to a year. Advantages Helps Colic and Reflux problems that babies sometimes get

On the 21st September 2006, my gorgeous little baby girl was born. She was a good size when she was born, 8lb 8ozs so I was a bit concerned when I started to realise that she was hardly having any milk during feed time. It appeared that she was taking in a lot of air from the bottle when she was sucking and it was making her extremely windy and aggitated. The poor thing must have been starving and struggled to get the amount of milk she wanted to have, as she had so much wind in her she couldn't bring it up. Tomme Tippee Bottle brush When choosing a bottle brush to wash your babies bottles it is not exactly something that you are really bothered about as long as it cleans the bottles thats all that matters. I purchased a Tommee tippee Bottle brush it is double ended so there is a little brush on the opposite end for the teats which i find very useful for £2.49. But after two weeks of using the bottle brush it snapped in half i thought i had been using too much elbow grease and went and bought another one exactly the same thing happened about 6 weeks later this time, again went and bought another ... more

i bought tommee tippee closer to nature bottle when my son was born they are designed to make feeding time easier and more comfortable for you and your baby. There are 3 different ways in which you can hold the bottle, cradled in the hand, held lightly at the bottom of the base or held like a traditional wide neck bottle but i found holding it at the neck of the bottle easier when i was feeding. the bottles come with slow teats which is designed to mimic the natural flex, feel and movement of a mum's breast you can also get a medium flow teat and fast flow teats for these aswell as your baby ... more

Tomme Tippee Anti-colic bottles 12/12/2007

Advantages Did wonders for my sons Colic
Disadvantages The rubber valve keeps popping off leaving son and sofa soaked in milk

I purchased four of these Anti-Colic bottles to help my sons Colic and to be honest it seems to have helped tremendously. Now I am so angry with the bottles as I am finding my son and my sofa frequently soaked in Milk. The valves at the bottom of the anticolic tube just pops away and the milk gets into it passing out through the top. I am forever having to open the bottle and retrieve the rubber valve to replace it only for it to fall off numerous times. I did email Tommee Tippee who were extremely quick I must say to send two replacement valves but just when I think Ive replaced possibly two ... more

Nubys babies soothers from tommee tippee.My daughter will only have the cherry teats,{full and wide teats} I struggle to find attractive dummies any were untill i went to mothercare and found these dummies. They were packed in a see through pack with the standard tommy tippee yellow back ground the age for these dummies are from birth and upwards.The pack i brought had one see-through and the other was purple.Very attractive but plain at the same time. They have an inner ring witch catches the babies breath when there asleep so they are really good if you are always checking your babies ... more

WHAT suction pad? 18/09/2000

After battling with my baby to stop her from throwing her food bowl on the floor, I decided to treat us to a Tommee Tippee bowl set complete with suction pad to attach to her high chair tray! Great idea my mum said and rushed out to buy one at the same time. What a mistake.....what a waste of money. The sucker didn't suck, no matter how hard I pushed it diwn or wet it. I considered exchanging it thinking that I perhaps had bought a faulty one until my mum rang me to tell me she had exactly the same problem. Disappointed and annoyed, we both returned our bowls and got our refunds...and then ... more

Those white disks to stop bottles from leaking 01/04/2003

Disadvantages easy to loose, and cannot buy replacements

They are great for stopping leaks while your bottles are in transit, but do you think you can get replacement disks any where ??!! No. I've tried contacting the manufactures directly (eg pigeon, tommee tippee, etc) but they refuse to sell or even market them. Does anybody else loose those white disk shaped things that go between the nipple and the bottle to stop leaks?? Does anybody else have a stupid number of bottles compared to the number of white disks ??? Does anybody else things it is silly to have to buy new bottles to get the white disks ?
