Tomy Aquadraw Magic Mat that is simply Magic My daughter loves drawing and painting though especially with paint, mummy does not like the after job of cleaning down both home and child. I have heard of aquadraw for quite a while though as they are quite expensive, we didn’t really get around to buying one until recently when I was able to pick one up for a cut of the recommended retail price. ...the presents he received was Tomy Aqua draw which he is completely obsessed with and I must say out of all the toy’s and games he has and there are a few this is by far and away the most played with already. The real beauty of this is that it produces absolutely no mess at all and the pens are filled with water not ink. We bought it for him from Tesco at £19.99 and were very impressed ourselves.
What You Get:
Large Aqua Draw Mat
2 Stencil Boards
... ...is a brilliant idea basically it consists of a huge mat which has a blue coloured layer beneath which is covered with a white sheet, around the edges are dotted outlined numbers and letters with colourful pictures all the way around. The mat look’s plain until you take one of the two pens included and fill it with water. The end of the pen twists off for filling with water and then just twists back on again. The nib is like a felt tip pen but sucks ...

...had commented on how great Tomy Aquadraw was and how much their little ones loved it, that I tried to investigate what it was all about. With no reviews written by anyone online, I had no idea what I would be getting for my money. But I did manage to gather that a mat of some sort and a pen filled with water was used.

It's a wonderful way to be messy without all the hassle of cleaning up the mess and hopefully this will stop crayon being drawn all over my walls! This is available from places like Toys R Us and Argos and Amazon and prices ...

Tomy aqua draw,
Guess what I bought Adrian? Yes an aqua draw. Tomy Aqua draw is a mat 90cm x90cm it is double skinned the bottom layer a blue waterproof fabric the op layer a white close weave material.
There are two water pens that come with the mat these are filled by removing the nib and filling with water from a jug. Yes all that is needed to draw on this mat is water no ink involved.
The mat has a border around it with pre printed numbers ... ...too. The letters are large and drawn double so that you can copy the letter inside. These are very good for practicing early writing skills
The centre square of the mat is plain white plenty of room to draw a magnificent picture. Place the mat on a table or directly on the floor blue waterproof side down draw on mat with water and it makes a blue mark the picture word you have written will be blue. Not much water comes out of the pens at one time ...

Advantages: No mess, fun and can be uses again and again Disadvantages: Can be difficult to clean
My daughter had just reached the age where she loved to scribble. We bought her crayons initially but unfortunately she was also still at the age where she like to chew ........ chewed up crayons cannot be good for your insides !!!!! and they didn't do an awful lot for my carpet either !!! So my husband and l decided to pay a trip to Toys R Us. After trawling through all the art section not really finding anything for under two's we finally came ... ...The box contained one magical piece of canvas, about 1 metre square (possibly a little bigger) and two refillable water pens. When laid out the canvas is blank in the middle and around the border it has the outlines of the alphabet and numbers 1 - 10 along with a picture associated with each letter/number. The refillable pens are bright yellow (difficult to lose) and decorated with lots of little pictures. The lids screw on in the opposite direction ...

...mat itself is manufactured by tomy and comes with 2 plastic pens that have foam tips. It measures roughly 90cm x 90cm which i found this is a good managable size for my daughter, not too big but big enough for plenty of drawings. We bought our two year old daughter an Aquadraw for Christamas. Amongst all of the electronic toys, DVDs, dolls, and games she received, this item has proven to be the most popular with her - she just loves it. Basically, the AquaDraw is a double layered mat measuring 90cm x 90cm. The bottom layer consists of a blue plastic lining and the top canvas is a white and rather hardy sheet of material. To draw, you simply fill the accompanying pens with ... ...As the wet pens touch the canvas the blue colour shows through the canvas giving the impression that you are drawing with a thick blue felt pen. The pen is only one way of creating images. Dipping hands and feet in water and making prints on the canvas is also great fun. We've also had the amusement of watching our cats walk across it after licking their paws - cool prints everywhere! Images slowly fade as they dry but that doesn't delay the fun ...

I put this down on my two year old Keeley's christmas list and i am so happy i did. This is the best invention for kids of pre school age with an arty flare.
Its just under a meter square, with a backing of waterproof mat and a top layer of white material. I bought tomy aquadraw last year for my daughter for a christmas present, and she loved it and played for hours with it. When i bought aquadraw the price was £29.99 from argos but you can get it a lot cheeper if you shop around, its aged 18 months onwards.
