    Top Ten Songs Of All Time: A list of songs I like to sing to! Oh no, not another Top Ten list! Love 'em or hate 'em, Top Ten lists are by their very nature extremely difficult to write - the mind is a fickle beast and what constitutes someone's best-liked tunes one week will undoubtedly change before the next hour, day or week is up.     From a very early age I have possessed a peculiar taste for old music not just because my parents had wonderful taste in music in those days and had a brilliant record collection between them, but I have just been blown away to another world quite literally by certain albums and specific songs. The divine rock stylings of the Beatles and the stones were like motivational conmen but in a diversely wonderful manor.     This is my personal list of the top ten worst songs of all time. I’m sure there are hundreds more. The order is loose and I’m really not sure if number one should really be number ten. I suppose it all depends on the non-listening mood I’m in. 1: Achy Breaky Heart, Billy Ray Cyrus Country and Western, but not as we know it.     Despite the category I'm writing in here, these are not necessarily my favourite songs of all time. However, they all have something about them that either grabs my attention or holds a particular memory. Most songs pass me by and are instantly forgotten and there are even fewer I can listen to twice in quick succession, but all these easily pass the "two consecutive listens" test. They aren't in any particular order and I should warn you that my taste is not in the least cool or trendy.     When I started this I thought it would be an easy exercise, just think of the 10 songs that mean the most to you and explain why. However, when it actually came down to it, I think it would have been easier to write a top 100 as so many songs have meant different things to me at different times in my life. Instead, I decided to go for those 10 songs which, whenever I hear them, still make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and have me diving for the volume button.     Greetings Pop Pickers! Time for me to share with you some of my quite literally all time favourite song type tunes of all time...... I'm sure that each song has any number of different meanings to the performers and to everyone who listens to them, but I've deliberately tried to pick out songs that not only I love to hear over and over again, but also that really mean something to me. 10.     Before I start…I just thought I would let you know that I burnt the potatoes writing this! Well my top 10 songs….this is hard as I live /eat/sleep/breath music but these are all ones that have pretty much stood the test of time with me and I can play over and over.     Bit bored today, fancy a bit of a no-brainer after all my stories of Egypt! So I thought I would take a bit of a break & do my top 10 songs ever, also I find it quite interesting to see who listens to what, it gives you quite an insight into what people are like!     I recently had the most funkalicious opportunity to travel and meet 8 fabulous new friends in Leeds. Hayley, Jess, Shell, Donna, Dave, Tony and Simon are all so sound it’s unbelievable! Absolutely groovy guys, each with their own fab-dabby-dosey character and totally easy to get along with (Only in Leeds with Hayley by my side can I dance to cheesy pop whilst lip-synching Charlotte Church’s Crazy chick with a transvestite!) You will probably go oh no not that or oo thats a good song but they are my personal favourites and i would like to share them with you all. 1) Elton John - Someone saved my life tonight ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never released as a single.
