As the old Toshiba was 7+ years old, and hassle free Toshiba was a definite to consider again. Sony’s were discounted on cost (unfortunately) and not many other brands came close in terms of features etc.
The decision was made, and the beast of a box was dually delivered. It comes with a stand, which with a few MFI style fixes with an Allan key, is built in about ½ hour.

...came across this widescreen 28" Toshiba tv. It had a flat screen and Dolby surround sound and all for £600! Wow, i thought thats cheap. The next thing, i was being spoken to by the sales assistant, who assured me that it was a bargain and that Toshiba were an excellent make. Advantages: Crisp & Clear wherever sat, Good Functionality, Number of Scarts Disadvantages: Rather on the deep side if in a small room

Range of Features:
Very good range of features, very customisable throught the menu for sound/visual setup. Nice amount of scarts too which I was pleased with as I have PS2/DVD/Video/Cable TV.
