Ok the two reasons I purchased this model are :
1) It was cheap (and I needed one fast)
2) It's design (I didn't want it getting in the way)
So for these reasons I am happy, but now I am looking for a little more from the recorder, more than it can provide.
Vision - Progressive scan capabilities usually ensures a fantastic clear picture. Unfortunately not in this case. While the picture quality is good, you really don't feel like you are in the ... ...you have it set up right, the sound is not only crystal clear, but you can become immersed into it. 5/5
Features - Plays a host of different formats (DVD-R/RW, CD, JPEG/MP3 CDs, VCD) and records to DVD-R/RW. Really lacking some decent features, it simply plays/records. No capability for dual-layer disks, DVI or DivX. With this recorder, you really are paying very little so features are going to be a little lacking.

...As you may know toshiba is a brilliant make, and this dvd recorder is a great addition to their collection of fabulous products. Its sleek back front looks stylish and also moden so it looks great sitting in the TV cabinet.
Plus it has so many features it is unbelievable, This is a Multi-drive DVD-RAM / DVD-RW / DVD-R recorder, which you can also use CRR, CD-RW and CDs.
So along with being a dvd player it is also a cd player and you'l never guess ... ...your sound system and play everything through the player. What more could you ask.
The video quality is good and easy to set up pre recorded and instant record settings. Another feature is that the player has timeslip recording and also editing features, which means no more anoying adverts through our important films or TV programmes.
