I decided to look at some external hard drives so I could store everything that I wanted and more. This particular model appealed to me, not just because it was the cheapest, but because it had very good specs (1TB of storage to say the least) and was a Toshiba. A very good brand that I trust. So I ... ...door. Opening the box, I saw that it was slightly longer but overall smaller than it had apeared online. This was fine as I am not bothered about space. It comes supplied with everything you need to get it running and took me about 2 mins to read the quick start guide and get it going. I then decided to format it so I could have a blank canvas to work from. The booklet said that the drive has already been formatted to NTFS but I did it again anyway. ...

Advantages: Large storage space, nice design. Disadvantages: Flashy blue light.
Theres not a huge amount to say about the drive, it offers decent transfer speeds across usb 2.0 ports (Cant really say amazing speeds but this is most likely down to the limitations of my own pc). The design of the drive is rather nice, minimal flourishes and an aluminum casing. Theres a blue light on the front which flashes during read/ writes which could possibly be annoying if your using it in an eye-line position. Ive personally been using it ... ...Xbox 360, it works perfectly with this as long as its formatted as a FAT32 (Xbox 360 requirement). The power supply gets quite warm during extended use but not to a level that I would call "worrying". There is a quick start manual supplied as well as a digital manual on the disk when it arrives, also a copy of an anti-virus. I'm assuming it was a trial but I wasn't interested in this in the slightest so I cant confirm it was. Basically its a nice ...
