...various specs, decided on the Toshiba PDRM25. It came with an 8mb smartmedia card and a 16mb one free, I think that's what swung it. I just love freebies. I can't remember exactly what we paid now but it was around average.
The camera comes with a really thick manual, and it's so tempting to ignore it, as it would takes ages to read. But once I did get around to reading it I found it very useful and very simple to follow.

Advantages: A Good,low priced camera to introduce you to digital photography Disadvantages: A spare day is required to read the manual!!
...possible!l decide to plump for Toshiba as l have had a few of their products,which have proved to be reliable.l purchase mine from a well known internet auction site(you all know which one l mean!) and got it for a reasonable £121.(which included posting via special delivery so l got it the next day) The camera has a definition of 2.2 million pixels which seemed okay for what l want it for,an LCD screen monitor,(so you can see what you are takig-no ... ...zoom lens so you can take pictures from a distance;all the associated cables to connect up to your PC;a CD-Rom to load the software onto your PC;once you are up and running you can do your own printing and send pictures to all your friends in far off places!
