Quick review of Toshiba SD-185

Bought it on Saturday 22 Nov It will not play my downloaded AVI or DIVX dvds - They freeze up - I have a Philips DVP 5960 and its never failed to play anything i have tried - I saw the Toshiba on sale and bought it thinking it will do the same job but nope - no joy - i rang up Toshiba help desk and they just suggested i try different discs as the ones i have may not be compatible - but they are with my Philips and so it seems the Toshiba SD-185 DVD player is not that comprehensive. ...
