I purchased one of these last week for the sole purpose of playing games on mainly world of warcraft ok lets get the specs out the way first ==SPECS== Pentium duel core 2.24gig processor with 3meg of cache 4 GIG of ram 17 inch monitor ATI mobility 4850 with 512meg Vram 500 gig sata drives 2 x 250gig Keyboard including Number pad Windows Vista 32bit premium Built in 2 million pixel web cam I ordered this on Tuesday night and it was delivered on the ... ...I thought. ==SETTING UP== First thing need was to install windows yes it need to be set up but this was a automatic process which you had to sit there for an hour as vista has a tendency to shut down when it restarts while installing. ===Starting windows for the first time=== Windows takes about 1 minute to start on this laptop not sure if that is commen for windows vista as this is the first time i have used vista and not sure the speed it usually ...

I purchased this laptop last week for a £400-£500 price range (medium). First thing i noticed was the look (So sleek, so sexi, it's so shiney!) It looks class. The best way to dive into a new career of course with style and confidence. The keyboard is at a new level of comfort and ease it makes those long essays or reports fly by. It works side by side with any broadband wireless or home conennected. The second most impressive thing for me was the ... ...the machine for it. It plays a new remarkable volume assisted by two very loud bass playing pressure and is most certainly all u need for ur late nights in. Very stong and rebust feel free to take it anywhere u go (if u can even set it down) it is very easily transported with not much weight and no strain. ...to send it back to Toshiba for repair! not a good start.
When i first got this laptop i thought that it was too good to be true for the price and i was right, maybe it is just my luck but i do not rate this laptop very high.
At first with not many files or programmes on it it was a perfect laptop, ran fast and had great Wifi signal, as soon as i downloaded an AVG it started to run VERY slowly. When i say slowly i mean slow, i could start up the ... ...had to go back to toshiba is due to the lid on it, when you close the screen the screws are very tight and so after a while the lid split across the hinges and so had to get a replacement lid, this however is happening again but for the trouble of sending it back i can live with it, the first instance it took about 3 letters, 6 calls and numerous emails for toshiba to accept responsibility, it wasnt until the store i purchased it from said they would ...

this is a really reliable, it has a fantastic tru bright screen and amazing hard drive space 300GB and a fantastic 3GB RAM.........
well when i bought this laptop i plugged it in and it went thru the normal procedure of installing windows vista (32-bit). it has a a really reliable card reader for very fast data transfer and music transfer.
i perssonally like the touch pad with a grippy material, the sound quality is fanstastic with its harman/kardon ... ...thru the brilliant speakers......
it has a built in webcam 2.0mp and a built in microphone so you can make calls over thhe internet
it also has 4 usb 2.0 ports so you can plug in all your usb devices with no problems the battey is really good lasts for bout 3hours on full charge overall i think this laptop is one of the best out at the moment ...
