Toshiba off the buyers of this product a one year warranty. I would however recommend that you take out a 3 or 5 year grantee. It is worth the extra expense for the peace of mind. NOTE – repairs for laptops are more costly than repairs for desktops
Only fault I have with this product is the poor battery lift that it offers If you luck you will get about 1hr 30mins of work out of it if you have it at full speed. However there ... ...screen and also turning off wi-fi ect. It normal takes around about an hour to fully charge up the battery. However there are additional power packs that can bought to solve this problem.
One other thing is that the design of the caseing is not the most attravie shape or colouring.
To conclude I would recommend this lap top to every one nut IT specialist. The reason for this is that this is getting on about and there will be better products on ...

...The standard warranty from Toshiba is 1 year, so an upgrade to 3 or even 5 years is highly recommended as laptops are otoriously expensive to repair otherwise. Not that I expect anything to happen to mine - it's too well built for that, but it's better to be safe than sorry isn't it?
The battery issue is the reason why I have not awarded this product five stars, but despite this I cannot recommended highly enough. ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Same faulst Over and Over
...years (since i came) buying toshiba laptops for our staff who are out and about quite often. A couple of years ago, I wanted to buy a number of top spec Laptops but wasn't allowed to by the man with the cash, so i had to drop down the ladder a little bit.
I went for 4 Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100s. They seemed ok, and for the price were pretty good value for money. For the first few weeks everything ran smoothly for the people with the laptops.
As ... ...their day had been and gone.
I have since spoke to friends who do similar jobs and most of them are stopping using Satellite Pros. I have moved not just off satellite pros but off of Toshiba all together and we are currently having a succesful run with Sony's. ...

(+) positive aspects include the speed, apperance/design of the laptop, and the enhanced performance. (-) i have a matt black laptop and it shows dirty finger prints.
