...for you. As a brand Toshiba a good, i would recomend them even if you do not pick this model. There are 4 usb ports, you can use wireless internet and netweorking, it has a cd drive and apparently the ability to burn CDs and DVDs, but for some reason i havnt got mine working yet - this may just be me being stupid tho! I am not great with computer hardware, so there are lots more things that this model has that i wouldnt be able to explain,so sorry ...

Toshiba Satellite Pro A100-830 I aquired one of these laptops as a Christmas present, and I was presently suprised at how fast this laptop was! It was incredibley easy to set up and I had finished the general setup and was downloading the updates within half an hour of opening the box!

The functionality of this product is better than I thought. The keys on the keyboard are properly placed and easier to type.
Screen size is around 15.4 inch, and its non-reflective which makes it easier to look at even in broad day light. Even though it has 1GB Ram memory, and Intel core 2 Due 1.6 GHz Processor, it tends to slow down or freeze up some time. The hard drive is 80 GB and can get filled quite quickly as i have noticed but it all depends ...

I have had this laptop for 4 months now. I bought it as a budget laptop to use mainly for the internet and word processing.
It was very easy to set up and I did not have any problems getting onto the internet via broadband. It boots up quickly and has not had 'the blue screen of death' once. I now have Itunes on here too and the sound that it produces is good enough for personal listening. I have tranferred files from various sources, bluetooth, ... ...is quick enough for my purposes.
It looks stylish and compact, it is not the biggest screen in the world but it suits me for my purposes fine. It has a silver keybloard surround and black keys. Scratch pad to move the mouse and big keys for clicking below it. I have only played SIMS on here and in terms of the graphics, it is wholly suitable for this. I am not into playing games so can't comment much on this usage.

I am a student at university and i find this laptop incredibly useful. It is wi-fi enabled and has a mean battery life of one and half to two hours. it comes with around 70GB of free space which is plenty for simple documents, but may require an extra hard drive if storing movies, photos and MP3's.
