This is definately a budget machine which is a perfect desktop replacement with a sleek design and attractive display that would appeal. Pros: Broad, bright display; comfortable keyboard, new measures that Toshiba has taken to insure quality and the look Cons: Unimpressive battery life; glossy screen finish produces reflections; Verdict: The inexpensive ... ...performance oomph for basic business tasks, but its AMD processor may disappoint hard-core multitaskers. Does not over warm up so thats good news for travellers like myself. Is very good value for money, looking at prices of different stores like Technoworld (by now you should all know it is my favourite :) dabs and laptopsdirect etc. PLUS THERE IS A CASHBACK ...

Advantages: Price, Performance, Style, Fast, Updated, Many Features, Sleek, Light, Great speakers, Great disk storage Disadvantages: Battery Life, Not the best for gaming, Vista slows processing speed

Advantages: Sturdy, practical, does its job well. Disadvantages: Not a good entertainment centre, terrible battery life.
...laptops and he told me Toshiba is the one brand he never sees being returned.
There's not lots of features although it comes with Premium Home Vista as opposed to Basic which some laptops in the same price bracket have instead of it.
Battery life is appalling, about an hour if you do not plug it in, and this is very disappointing. On the plus side, it is very hardy as I have bashed it around and dropped it being clumsy and nothing is broken!!
