Quick review of Toshiba Tecra 9000

i have a tecra 9000 i cant get a web cam installed iv tried a logitech compatible with windows xp but still says cant run audio video set up - dont know why? A good laptop to start with but runs very slow i find! Can any one help with this web cam problem? ...

Good Solid Old Laptop

Advantages: Solid Casing, built in bluetooth, wifi
Disadvantages: slow compared to modern machines, built in mouse

I have been using the Toshiba Tecra 9000 for about two years now. The laptop is very good. The inbuilt wireless and Bluetooth are very useful. The built in SD Card reader is also useful, but only runs at USB 1.1 speed so can be a little slow when transferring lots of files. The screen is bright and clear and copes well with playing DVDs. It is a fast enough PC to watch the BBC iPlayer in full screen. The built in mouse nipple can be a little hard ...

There can be some issues with these laptops, and if you have one that is starting to blue screen some information can be found at http://www.squidoo.com/T9000fix.
