First things first, why are there so many reviews under 'Toyota Yaris 1.0', I see more T3's around than the basic Yaris. To be fair they were probably all too busy admiring their car and forgetting to realise the model. Back to the topic eh.
The striking point to a passer by would be its exterior design, well that's really all they see from the outside. Looking front on you see its large headlight that adds character to the car I must say, checking ... ...as average (it's far better than the Renault Megane, errrr). The bumpers are the same colour as the car with the odd grey plastic patches to prevent a scratch when you scrap a car. This car is a 3 door so the doors are bigger than doors for a 5 door car.
On the inside, you find yourself somewhere else, the inside doesn't reflect the size it looks on the outside. It seems small on the outside but when you get inside, it is like it has grown in size ...

Advantages: Amazing.. in all categories Disadvantages: door pockets too narrow
...a Review on the old toyota yaris T-spirit 1.0. What can I say??? I have now upgraded to the new model and it's even better than the old one. At first I wasn't too conviced by the different shape but soon grew to love it. I call it my bubble now.
I find this car excellent in all ways. I'm a driving instructor so the selling feature at the time was knowing that I would be protected by 9 airbags! And trust me ...in my job that is very reassuring. I ... ...boot. In the old toyota yaris I praised the boot space and the versatility of it. In the new model I have some reservations though. The boot now has a shelf which raises the main platform and I guess it makes it easier to store things underneath which is helpful if you don't need to access them on daily basis. I find this slightly problematic.... it reduces the actual boot space available and if you forget about taking the shelf out you big shopping ...

Advantages: Reliability, performance, fuel economy Disadvantages: The occasional transmission problem
...first car was a 1999 Toyota Yaris and it's still my favourite small car today. Apart from the obvious Toyota hallmarks like good Japanese build quality, economy and reliability, the Yaris was perfect for my needs; commuting, the weekly shop and the occasional road trip.
The 1 litre version's acceleration and performance matches many cars with bigger engines, plus the fuel economy is superb; on a long trip I easily got 40+ MPG from the car and around ... ...to a minimum.
Overall, Toyota struck gold with this car. Group C car insurance coupled with its superb fuel economy equals a very cheap car to run. Very rarely will this car need to spend any time in a garage due to its superb build and resale values are high, although you may find it hard to part with! The car's versatility means you'll be hard pressed to become bored with it and the performance can sometimes make you forget that you're driving ...
