    'Britain's best-selling hill-walking magazine' Crikey...it must be good then. Because sales figures are always the best way of measuring the worth of something, aren't they? I mean, of course there were no better songs than Leona Lewis's 'Bleeding Love' in 2007, were there? I'm certain that in 500 years time, they'll be studying the nuances and subtexts of 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' in the same fashion as students currently pore over Shakespeare. And with 'Spiderman 3' making more money than any other film as the US box office last year, why oh why did the Academy bother showering ... more

    Trail Magazine £3.40! A4 size Most glossy mags are at least a fiver, so that can't be bad.. The last magazine I looked at had 100 pages of editorial to 132 pages not counting the outer covers - so that's not bad either. But what goes on inside? More or less 6 or 7 sections each one devoted to a separate topic. Latest: There is a current review of the latest happenings/product development in the outdoor world. These are generally kit reviews of gear that is about to land in the shops, just to wet the appetite - for a hobby or sport that actually gets you away from it all, it still seems to be ... more
