Advantages: Challenging, Original, Great storyline Disadvantages: It's a remake
...anything is possible. Fact is, Trauma Center: Second Opinion just wouldn't work on any other console. But it works on the Wii. It works very well indeed. OK, you got me. Trauma Center Second Opinion is a Wiimake of the cult DS hit Trauma Center: Under the Knife. Just like the original, you play as Derek Stiles, an up and coming Surgeon who's just graduated from Med School. The year is 2018, and most of today's incurable diseases are now curable. ... ...obvious out of the way, Trauma Center is hard, very hard. If real life surgery is as hard as Trauma Center surgery, and no doubt it is, I have only respect for Surgeons. It is a hard game, but never an unfair game. Time and time again, you'll want to throw your Wiimote out the window in frustration, but you'll only end up going outside to pick it up, and have 'one more go' because you were so close last time. Only through finding out what you're ...

Their Lives In Your Hands
========================
Ever fancied yourself as a surgeon, with the patients life in your hands, one wrong move and it's curtains for them? Well now you can wield a scalpel with no chance of being sued for malpractice.
You play Dr Stiles, a gifted surgeon, and you perform various operations. He has a special gift called the healing touch that only
very few surgeons have, this basically means that he can slow down time.
... ...a parasite called
GUILT that has been introduced by a terrorist organisation. You become involved in finding a cure.
First things first, if you're worried about feeling queasy then don't be,
the graphics are more in the style of a manga cartoon here, with
mostly a 2D representation of the body.
The game is played with the remote wit the nanchuck attachment.
The nanchuck is used to select your instrument.
Conclusion

This is ...

Advantages: varying operations, great fun and completely original Disadvantages: too much too read, lack of multiplayer
Trauma Center: Second Opinion on the nintendo Wii is a unique, original game that makes it alot of fun to play. Thne game is set in 2018 where many diseases have become curable, such as cancer, and you play a young doctor who tends to get critisized alot, and is trying to prove himself.
There is a wide range of surgical impliments avaible to use from stitching and a bandage to laser removal as well as 'instant healing gel'. The controls are simple ... ...operation from the simple like a laceration to the arm to the crazily extrovert like removing huge shards of glass embedded into the heart. There is plenty of longevity in this game with the operations getting progressively more complex and difficulty level changing. In the operation itself, the game tries to be as realistic as possible (considering cancer is apparantly a thing of the past) with you having to keep a watch on the patients vital signs, ...

Advantages: perform operations, completely different to everything else Disadvantages: Too much writing to read
Trauma Center on the Wii is a remake of Trauma Center: Under the Knife on the DS. Having played both versions the Wii version is the best.
This game is not however a straight forward remake. Some of the levels have been changed and there are special bonus levels involving a woman surgeon instead of the usual Dr. Stiles.
The game basically involves you taking control of different operations during with increasing difficulty as it progresses. It ... ...is used to select different instruments and the Wii mote is how you use them. This is a bit complicated at first as I was moving the cusor with the wiimote to the bottom of the screen to select the next instrument, when infact all I needed to do was move the Nunchuck stick in that direction. Once you have got used to this style though it is very good and makes switching between instruments very fast.
The graphics are good although nearly all of ...

Trauma Center: Second Opinion for the Wii is about a normal surgen thats late to work on occasions and wants to help people. the game evolves so the surgen turns out the have special powers to slow down time.
The game is about saving lifes of patients by opening them up and taking out bits of glass to killing diseases that is hurting or even killing the patient.
You use many different tools to help your patients, including medical jel to heal wounds, ... ...destory diseases, and many more that are need to help cure or even fix somebodys broken arm. I recomend this game because it helps to increase reation time and also even has a few puzzles droped in if you get bored of the scalpel used to open up your patient.

I have just recently got a Wii and enjoyed playing this game. The game is basied on your being a surgen and basically you have to operations.....they do get harder as you go along. Am stuck already but determined to get through it.
The game is very japanse manga style. You have to read all the intructions there isn't very much speaking in it accept for the nures saying "Doctor Stiles" far to much. The plot of the story is that you are Dr Stiles ...

Advantages: performing operations Disadvantages: time waiting for the briefing (lots to read).
I have recently purchased wii trauma center second opinion. Initially I found it difficult to use the different operation features - which includes scalpel, antibiotic gel, syringe, stiches, drain, laser, ultrasound, magnification scanner and forceps. There are other features such as bandages (after the operation is completed), defibrillator (electric shock to the heart), Light and finally if you (as the doctor) has the "Healing touch".

Trauma Centre: Second Opinion is a game where YOU are the surgeon doing all kinds of operations. It's not as graphical as it could be but thats a good thing, especially for those squemish people out there. There are a variety of operations to perform and after everyone you are graded, the higher the grade the better. You quite literally have to open someone up, deal with their problem and then close them back up afterwards. You can tell how well ... ...that appear, if you get something wrong it will say miss. This game is kind of split down the middle, you can either stay working at hope hospital or you can go off and work for caduceus which study a wider range of ailments that are very hazardous to the world. ...
