I watched the sad demise of our last washer dryer after having served us for a less than 2 years… least said soonest mended. So began a frantic search for an immediate replacement and armed with the words from Himself "just get one which washes, we don't need the all singing all dancing model", I bought this model.
At a cost of £199 with only £5 delivery charge (same day), this was too good an opportunity to miss, and meant that I wouldn't have ... ...**The Model **
The machine itself is white automatic front loading with a large porthole window and a door which opens out to the left using a pull back hinge.
The detergent and fabric conditioner drawer is located in the top left hand corner as it is on most other automatic washing machines., and in the bottom right hand corner is the drain pump.

Advantages: High spinspeed, quite and ecological Disadvantages: not the most pleasent washing machine to look at and cycles take there time.
Up until a few months ago I had always owned Hoover washing machines. I bought one of those hoover 6 things and it broke within a few months of purchase. I trotted off down to my local euronics centre and bought this for £220 - £90 cheaper than my Hoover. At first I wasn't very fond of this machine. It doesn't really look good and it makes a different noise to any other I've used. But now I love it. The high spin speed means my tumble dryer (a very ... ...even though the machine is in the next room to the kitchen, you can't hear it. The machine has excelent cleaning performance and although it does take it's time it's still incredible. I've had it since december 2004 now and I love it. It's such a good machine and you know how sometimes the fabric softener dispensor gets blocked - it doesn't. I've never had any problems with it and am told I never will. Bought this machine because of it's eco wash programme and cold fill as use washable nappies and need a hot was (60 degrees) but wanted it to be good for the environment. On first usage it was brilliant. This machine is much quieter than our old hotpoint. Then things started to go wrong. Firstly the pump failed. This was replaced but then the dial locked and you could only use one program. this was fixed but then the machine kept crashing on the ... ...Then the pump failed again, then the circuit board and then the dial locked again!!! We are now finally getting the machine replaced after 6 engineers visits to two persistant faults despite them replacing loads of parts. All credit to Electolux for now replacing it (but we have been begging since the fourth engiineer visit!!!) ...
