Tunnels of Blood is a horror story, there's no doubt about that. But within the story there are some romantic parts, such as when Darren and Debbie go on their first date, and there was a lot of suspense and action. The book leads you to believe that someone or something is the killer, and that certain people may have died, when in fact the book has some mysterious twists.

Advantages: Great follow on from the previous. Great story Disadvantages: none
Tunnels Of Blood is the third installment of Darren Shans epic story of a boy called Darren. Darren Shan wrote a set of books where he uses himself as the main character. The set of books is about a boy called Darren Shan who becomes a vampires assistant and the books follow his life. Shan has written over 10 books about the saga of Darren Shanand all follow on from the last.

Outline of Tunnels of Blood
The story follows on from where the story left off. This time Darren and Mr Crepsley have to go to Mr Crepsley home town as there is an evil vampaneze ( vampires evil brothers). Vampires don't kill when they feed they just take a small amout of blood and the person survives but the vampaneze drain the person dry. The vampaneze in Mr Crepsleys home town is called Murlough and is killing and drinking people ...
