Get thrown headfirst into the Roaring Twenties!

Advantages: Fast paced easy read, funny, well written characters
Disadvantages: Slow start, weak love interest

...given when her new book, Twenties Girl, was released that I would be eager to read it. When Lara Lington finds out her 105 year old Great Aunt Sadie has died it's the least of her worries - having recently been inexplicably dumped by her boyfriend Josh, and having just set up her own headhunting business with school friend and professional headhunter Natasha, only for Natasha to go swanning off to Goa with no sign of return, leaving Lara desperately ...
...enough to worry about. But when Lara finds herself being haunted by Great Aunt Sadie, reinvented as her 23 year old self and determined to track down her favourite dragonfly necklace, she finds her life turned upside down as she tries to find the necklace. But who would have taken the necklace and why? Sadie is not your typical 'old lady' and her attempts to live vicariously through Lara see Lara behaving in ways she would never have considered - ...

A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE . . .

Advantages: readable, great characters, excellent storyline
Disadvantages: a slow start

Okay, so anyone who reads my reviews on any sort of semi-regular basis will know that I am a massive chick-lit fan . . . and that Sophie Kinsella is one of my favourite authors in this genre. Normally I would probably rush out and buy one of her books the second it hit the bookshelf but something made me hesitate this time. Why? It wasn't the fact it was only available in hardback, that never stops me when it comes to my favourite authors. It was ...
..."into" ghost ories of any kind, so I didn't really see how this could possibly be interesting for me. But eventually curiosity got the best of me and my hovering finger finally clicked the mouse on the purchase button on Amazon. Lara is the heroine this time, a stressed-out twenty-something with an ex-boyfriend she desperately wants back and a start-up business that is rapidly going down the tubes due to her business partner (the one who had the ...

...learn from eachother ? Read Twenties Girl to find out! If I'm honest , at first I found it hard to get into the book. I had loved Sophie Kinsella's books , and so after reading a couple of chapters I thought 'can't see myself finishing this book' , but decided to continue just in case it got better ; which to my delight it did , and at that a LOT better! I was hooked! It kept me entertained for a few hours! I'd read it all within two nights! The ...
