    Tea – the best drink of the day. Well for me it most certainly is. I think a cup of tea is so therapeutic. It helps people cope with a multitude of circumstances. If someone has suffered a shock, what do we say? “I’ll just pop the kettle on for a nice cup of tea, that’ll help you”. If a loved one has died then again, the first thing we do is ask the relative if they want a cup of tea. If we are thirsty, a cup of tea will quench that thirst.     Twinings Earl Grey Tea Twinings and Tea are virtually synonymous, the history of the company going back centuries. Thomas Twining actually opened the first known tea room in 1706, a building that still stands in the Strand, London to this day. In 2006, Twinings celebrated its 300th anniversary, with new teas, a special anniversary tea, associated tea caddies and updated product packaging. When I want a nice cup of tea but something with a bit more taste to it I often reach for the Earl Grey tea, one of my favourites.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Not exactly like the regular tea

    Earl Grey has long been the tea of choice in our house with me drinking regular and my wife the decaffinated variety. We have tried all the supermarket own brands and find Twinnings by far the best. Until recently the paper used in the Twinnings Decaffinated Earl Grey tea bags had much less obvious perforations than the regular Earl Grey. This meant a longer brewing time was required which brought you closer to the "stewed" boundary (serious tea drinkers will know what I mean!).
