Twister is a game based on twisting. It'll twist your mind, your body and your friends! It is a popular party game played by people of all ages. I have even spotted some adults playing before, so it just goes to show how fun it can be. The good thing about Twister is, is the fact, that if you lost the board, you wouldn't even need to buy another, or stop playing the game. This is merely because the game is so easy to play, you wont find it difficult. ... ...imagine that :0}). Twister is manufactured by MB games and is for ages 6 and up. It says on the box 'The game that ties you up in knots' and it certainly stays true to its word. It costs anything around £15 depending where you buy it from. Lay out the floor mat, and decide who is going to be the referee. The referee is the one, who holds and spins the board. All the people who are playing, should remove their shoes, to avoid the mat being split.

Advantages: great fun Disadvantages: people can get hurt
This is the ideal game for a party. It's really good fun, easy to play and causes great hilarity! The rules are easy enough to learn- simply stand on a plastic sheet with coloured circles printed on it, withyour feet on 2 colours. Then spin a dial to see if you have to move your left or right hand or foot to one of the colours. The first one collapsed in a heap on the floor is declared as the looser and has to spin the dial in the next round as punishment!
... ...it's a really good conversation maker and you can't help but laugh at all the scrapes people manage to get into. People dive over other people and, well, "twist" around about 1cm off the ground before toppling over, taking all teh rest of the people with them!
It's suitable for people age about 8+ and can be played with from 3 to about 8 people. I find the more people, the more funny it is, but it is still enjoyable with 3 people. Also try and play ...

Advantages: Great game - especially at parties. Disadvantages: A bit dull without the secret ingredient.
Ciao has placed this game in the 'Children's Game' section - but let me tell you that this is probably not for youngsters at all. The most fun can be had when all children are tucked up in bed and a bottle of vodka has been polished off. This is adult fun at its best - the magic ingredient being alcohol.
Most of us know how this game works. If not, the rules are simple. You must stand on a giant floor mat (with marked-out circles of different colours) ... ...A dial is used to obtain which body part must be placed on what circle. Sounds simple......
But it becomes more complicated when there are 5 or 6 of you all 'twisted' around each other. The word 'flexibility' comes to mind. Belive me, anybody can be very flexible after a couple (or a few more) drinks.
But remember - ALCOHOL is the most important part of this game. All inhibitions are lost - and you begin to lose care about whether or not people ...

Twister is probably one of the most popular board games around, and one of the biggest! The game is played on a huge plastic mat covered in large coloured spots which is placed on the floor. The idea of the game is that one (lucky) person escapes torture, physical exertion and injury completely by standing there spinning a pointer on a piece of cardboard. On the piece of cardboard are four different colours and pictures of hands and feet. Having spun the pointer, the 'ref' calls out "left foot ...

Advantages: Cheap, entertaining, playable outside (in good weather) Disadvantages: Takes up alot of space, not advisable for those with back trouble
Twister is a game for a maximum of six players. Recommended for ages 6 and up, realistically the only criteria for participation is having the agility to bend your body in a multitude of ways, and the ability to differentiate between your left and your right.
So, what exactly is Twister? Apart from a contortionists dream, it's a game consisting of a large plastic mat that has red, green, yellow, and blue dots on it. The idea of Twister is that you ... ...the mat.
In theory, Twister is very simple to play. In practice, it's not so easy and is more a game of luck than skill. Saying that, the ability to put your body into some bizarre positions could be considered an art form.
Although suitable for the whole family, I would advise caution in playing the game with your children. Adult collapsing on child can be painful. Equally painful scenario is child 'accidently' kicking adult in the shin to ensure ...

...The game of twister is an oldie but goodie. I say this as someone who doesn't actually play but watches. I used to play this as a youngster but I think I have grown to old. Advantages: fun for cheap price! Disadvantages: it hurts!
Who would think that such a simple game would bring so much entertainment!! You are provide with a square mat with a row of red, yellow, green and blue dots. For your ten quid you also get a piece of cardboard sectioned into parts such as right hand red or left foot blue, with a spinner attached.
Sounds like a quality game doesn’t it!!
So here’s what to do.
Someone is nominated “spinner” and gets control of the quality ... ...then has to follow the directions, if right hand red is spun they must put their right hand on a red dot. Easy to begin with because you have a wide choice of dots. The second player then waits for their spin to be red out and again, follows the directions.
A simple game to learn but not simple to play! Once you’ve had a few spins you are all completely tangled up and eventually everyone will fall down in a big heap with legs and arms sticking ...

Twister….ahhh what fond memories. In twister you have to basically twist your body around to put your hand or foot on the coloured dot that is called out to you by the person spinning a hand round a board. Sounds easy. It isnt though, with a couple of players playing at the same time, your always bumping into each other. One of the best things about twister is that you get to put your arms and legs in places you would never be allowed to otherwise ... ...arm through a boy or girls legs to get to the spot you have to touch, or you might get their bum in your face for a while. All good fun eh!
The kids are very innocent when playing this game and its all in the name of fun for them, adults however have a better idea and really get into the swing of things. Being the person who spins the hand can be the most fun though. Put yourself in this situation….You’re the host, your mate and a girl are playing ...
