Advantages Advantages Classic appeal, sweet taste, crunchy biscuit, various sizes available

Disadvantages Disadvantages On the pricey side for what they are

As a girl growing up in a chocolate shop I used to be a big fan of traditional chocolate treats, though not so much anymore. That said, Twix is a classic and an occasional twix break always gets a thumbs up from me. Twix is produced by Mars so you're getting a quality product made from years of knowledge and experience. It was first introduced to the UK in 1967 before going over the sea to the States in 1979. It's extremely popular now in many countries, and I doubt I could find many people in the UK that haven't heard of, or tried, Twix. Twix are typically sold individually in 2 finger foil ... more

    Advantages Advantages yummy

Disadvantages Disadvantages no vegetables in it :)

Twix chocolate coated caramel shortcake bars are my second favourite after Mars. There are two bars in a golden packaging with big TWIX logo on it. It is available as single pack or there are bigger bars called Funsize or there are multipacks of different quantities (pack of 3, 5, 9, 16, 28). I usually buy a single package because it there are several bars at home the temptation is too big. I can hardly resist… It is wildly available. I buy it mostly in Sainsbury’s where a single bar costs 41 pence. The larger packs are really economical choices if you can resist or you bring it to a party. So ... more

Advantages Advantages Quite fillng, three-in-one bar, two portions in each pack.

Disadvantages Disadvantages None, unless you really don't like Twix.

Twix ***** What is it? *********** A biscuit snack by Mars. Special Features? ******************** A long chunky biscuit covered with a thick layer of caramel and wrapped with a milk chocolate - and you get two! What do I think? ***************** I love Twix, it has chocolate, caramel and a yummy thick biscuit, three treats in one! The first thing you taste is of course the chocolate, it looks a very thin layer but does taste as if there is a lot of it. I am glad to say that it's real chocolate and not the flavoured stuff. The second thing I normally get to is the taste of the biscuit which ... more

    Advantages Advantages Nice Chocolate bar

    Disadvantages Disadvantages nothing that special

Twix's are yummy fingers of Milk chocolate with caramel and shortbread. What's not to like? These have been around for absolute years and have never changed. In fact I don't think the packaging has changed either. you get 2 fingers in a standard individual pack, but you can also buy these in 7 indivudual bar packs as well, which are normally found at the biscuit aisle. They are manufactured by Mars. Normal price for an individual pack is about 45p and the 7 pack is about £1.20.. The packaging is alright. It is a gold colour and quite shiny. The Twix writing is in bright red and it stands out ... more

Advantages Advantages nice enough chocolate bar

Disadvantages Disadvantages nothing all that unusual

I like the odd Twix. Not my favourite Chocolate Bar by all means, but it's nice to sometimes have something different. Twix is made by Mars and you can buy this in a few different ways. The standard pack contains 2 Twix "fingers" and costs about 45p. You can buy these in individual finger packs which you tend to get 9 in a pack and these cost about £1.30. The pack for these looks alright, but it isn't anything special. A gold coloured pack with a little picture on the front of the Twix and the writing in red. I don't think this has ever changed. These are made up of a Biscuit Base with a thin ... more
