Two for "Uncharted", hold the combat
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by Magrippinho

Advantages: Would have been a good movie
Disadvantages: Is a mediocre video-game

Sony's quest for exclusive PlayStation 3 games that are actually worth the blu-ray disc they're lasered on continues with "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune". Developed by "Naughty Dog", best known for the "Crash Bandicoot" and "Jak and Daxter" series, a quick glance at "Uncharted" gleams of high production values. Ever since I show the trailer, I couldn't help but dream of a game featuring the platforming of "Prince of Persia" and the combat of "Resident ... Read review

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by tdholland

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Relitively short

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. Where to start with Uncharted? Obviously you can already see that I thought this game was brilliant by my 5* rating but that's not to mean that this game is necessarily for everyone, hopefully in this review you will be able to tell whether you will like it or not...which you will...not that I'm biased... Ok then to the basics! Firstly, incase you didn't know already, Uncharted is made by Naughty Dog, the game ... Read review

A gamer's fortune!
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by ariel5

Advantages: Very adventurous and interesting
Disadvantages: May be too easy for experienced gamers

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune An action packed adventure game that I loved playing to the very end. The characters: Nathan "Nate" Drake is an experienced treasure hunter who may be a descendant of the legendary Sir Francis Drake. In this adventure he has set to find out what exactly is inside Sir Francis Drake's coffin as according to legend he was buried at sea and did not father any children, something that Nate disputes. I have to say that ... Read review

Uncharted makes it's mark on the map
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by Sheepster76

Advantages: Great story. Beautiful environments. Brilliant voice-acting.
Disadvantages: Bit short. May seem hard and tricky to younger players.

I was slightly aprehensive when I got this game. I had played the demo from the PSN store, and had not been that impressed. However I was wrong to do so; Uncharted is one of the PS3's best exclusives and is well worth the buy, even months afer it's release. As far as adventure games go the only competition out there is Lost, which, to be honest, isn't in Uncharted's league at all. Story and Characters If there is one thing that would showcase ... One of the better offerings from the PS3 so far
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by Ultima2876

Advantages: Good gameplay; tons of unlockables; beautiful graphics, great production
Disadvantages: Not very original; lack of multiplayer

Overall Rating: 87% Uncharted is one of the few games on the PS3 that I would class as a must-buy. If you're a fan of action games, which, let's face it, most of us are, then you won't be disappointed. If there's a complaint to be made, it is that the game doesn't really do anything new - but in this day and age where 90% of game releases aren't worth the time or effort, an awesome albeit unoriginal game is a hell of a lot better than something ... A Masterpiece
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by jonwebb5

Advantages: Stunning graphics, Lots of humour, Compelling story, Wonderful to play, Replay Value, Lots of Fun!
Disadvantages: No multiplayer, sometimes shooting could get a little repetitive for some

I bought Uncharted just after it was released last Christmas. The other day I loaded it up for yet another play through, and it blew me away all over again. At such a low price, this is seriously not a game to miss out on. The premise is fairly simple. You play Nathan Drake, a descendant of Sir Francis Drake, who is searching for the lost treasure of El Dorado. The story itself is magnificent. I have never seen a game weave a plot so well. The characters ... Read review

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by 01wojtowicz

Advantages: +Great gameplay +Hugely cinematic +Really good fun!
Disadvantages: +Not many enemy models +relatively short (8-12 hours)

Uncharted really is a bit of an odd game, plot-wise. You play as Nathan Drake, who's a treasure hunter. The game starts on a boat, you've just recovered the cofin of Sir Francis Drake and open it to find its empty, except for a diary. A woman, Elena, is on the boat with you filming you for a television show. Pirates then attack and you then travel to places such as El Dorado, a Nazi U-boat (where your mentor is killed) and an island jungle. The ... Read review

help drake find his fortune
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by AgeUK

Advantages: great graphics, good game play, fun for all.
Disadvantages: bit short.

PS3 exclusive and a game i bought based on its demo. Like Tomb raider, but you play a bloke called "Nathaniel Drake" (aka Nate) who is meant to be a long distant ancestor of "Sir Francis Drake" who apparently had discovered the treasure of "El Dorado" but had kept it secret. The new drake is on the Hunt of the lost treasure. 720p graphics, single player, Dolby Digital or DTS soundtrack. It looks and sounds sweeeeet/ Plenty of shooting and island ... Read review

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by wee_generation

Advantages: Great gameplay, well written story.
Disadvantages: no online mulitplayer.

Nathan Drake is a mans man. it's that simple. This adventuring treasure hunter is the type of guy we'd all love to be. He's on the trail of Sir Francis Drake, an ancestor with a passion for hidden treasure. Along the way his path intertwines with Gabriel Roman a loan shark on the case of Nathans friend Victor. Soon we find ourselves fighting through ranks of Gabriel's men trying to find the treasure of El Dorado. Game play wise this is similar to ... Read review

Tomb Raider with a Man
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by alby20002000

Advantages: Amazing Grapphics
Disadvantages: Only available on the PS3 (not much of a disadvantage)

This game is excellant and best described as a mix of Indiana Jones and Tomb raider. It is about a treasure hunter on his journey around the globe looking for a mysterious treasure, while he has to battle with other treasure hunters, forign armies, wild animals and death defying leaps and traps and also other terrifying creatures. The treasure hunter is name is Drake, who is a decendant of Sir Francis Drake. He believe he can find a hidden treasure ... Read review

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by Mar99

Advantages: Fun, Graphics, Playability
Disadvantages: none major

...after it's original release and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune remains one of the highlights of the Ps3 lineup. I originally played this on release but with it's recent addition to Sonys Trophy system i decided it was worth a revisit, and i wasn't disappointed. The graphics, although still impressive, have been superceded by titles such as Metal Gear Solid 4 but the fun and freshness of Uncharted remain. The main appeal of the game is the storyline ... Uncharted: Drakes fortune
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by S3RG10

Advantages: Amazing graphics, voice acting and story, gameplay's great too.
Disadvantages: Short, easy very linear for an Adventure game

This game put simply is absolutely amazing, think of a game that combines Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider and Gears of War all in one. I am usually not into adventure games, I am definately not a Tomb Raider fan, I however did enjoy Gears of War immensly. Despite my disliking of Tomb Raider and Adventure games this game is what Tomb Raider wishes it was. The game is simply brilliant, the graphics are just beautiful and the forst is ammazingly lush ... Quick review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3)
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by Bill-S

As an American enjoying the game, It is my first on Playstation 3 of the next-Gen games, prior to getting GTA4 for the system! I think I made the perfect choice as anyone who lusts after the most eye pleasing graphics will attest. There is precious little to fault in the game. The most glaring of which is the storyline is linear and somewhat short by that nature. I still can't find all the treasures so there's something to be said! The series will continue with new adventures and I hope they add more characters then just Drake to aid in large combat scenes, they add most of the enjoyment, and could be used for two players to join in, perhaps?! I luv it!

Good but could've been better
Review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) by Cosmo_Kramer

Advantages: Great Graphics, Voice Acting
Disadvantages: Repetive

Uncharted is very much Tomb Raider/Gears of War, although not. Let me explain. The game is very good yet could have been so much better. It has the arcade feel of Gears and the kind of archaeoligical feel of Tomb Raider, yet is not as good as either of those games. The graphics are amazing and the story is Indiana Jones-ish. It's on Platinum range now so I would definately recommend picking it up to see what all the hype was about. The voice acting ... Read review
