Advantages: A real eye opener
Disadvantages: Not for the faint hearted

I probably have every new book that comes out that tells a story of childhood abuse and neglect, but this is one of the most compelling story that I have read that come under that genre umbrella. We think that children of our generation are sometimes missed from the loop when it comes to abuse and neglect, but this is what I would call scraping the bottom of the barrel and takes place in the 60's. i have read many books of this kind this was the most shocking. to be yoused for the biggest campain in the 60s for the nspcc this picture of peter help raise so much money for them. but then left be hind once thay no longer needed him to live a life of neglect abuse and cruelty by his parents and older siblings. to be so scared to go home so spent many nights on the street as young as 7 years old to defend for him self.then of to borstal as ...
