    Advantages Advantages Gorgeous packaging, contains 10 shades, shades can be blended and compliment each other

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Slightly irritated my sensitive skin, it's unlikely that you will like all the shades

    While I wear make up every day, eyeshadow is something I usually only apply for special occasions or if I am going out for the evening. I do like to have a nice supply of eyeshadow for these occasions. I was given the Urban Decay Ammo shadow box for a Christmas present last year. This eyeshadow palette contains 10 of Urban Decay's best selling shades and was created to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the company.     Although I have not owned my Ammo box for very long, I would like to review it because of its range of colours/value for money. First things first. This box retails in the UK (from the 'net, larger Boots and most Debenhams) for approx £20. I bought mine brand new off ebay for £15, but the included applicator was missing. No worries. It comes in a plastic sleeve with a card showing colours and information such as ingredients and the big Urban Decay winner for me..NO ANIMAL TESTING (then again, I won't even look at a brand till I know that they don't test on animals) The compact is just that ... more

    I had been eyeing this set up for a few weeks when as luck would have it, my fiancé’s mum brought one back as a present from New York for me after she had been holidaying there. This set was released as part of their 10th birthday celebrations and it is just perfect.     Advantages Advantages They last for ages, they are lovely colors and easy to apply.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages They are quite expensive.

    I am now 20 and 6months before I turned 18 I bought one of these eye shaddow boxes. I love it. I still have it, they dont go down quickly and I still have some of them. it is boxed by a rather gothic styled, black box, housing 10 vibrant and glittery colours which make any girl look pretty. Since using the box I have obviously changed the eyeshaddow brush for hygeine reasons but that its only natural. they are quite easy to apply, although my advice to anyone putting on make up is see what styles you suit and use your cheaper make up to practice, and get style ideas from fashion magazines.     I've always loved the look and colours of the Urban Decay eye shadow but as it is quite expensive and I couldn't really justify shelling out for one of the larger sets such as the Book of Shadows I tried to find a smaller one that still had a good selection and range of colours. Unfortunately this set doesn't come with the small eye shadow primer that a lot of them do which I think does really improve how the eye shadow applies.     After searching for months for good quality eyeshadows I came across this one. I bought it on the decision of the good reviews here and I am glad I did. It is easy to apply on the eyelids and the colours blend well together. The real beauty of this palatte is the mixed selection of colours. I always apply sin to my eyelids for a good base and it does wonders to keep the other colours on. However, I don't think the eyeshadow lasts as long as I thought they would. I have to reapply after five/six hours, the product is light and small so its easy to just chuck it in your bag. I would recommend it ... more

    I have only recently discovered Urban Decay as a brand. Initially I bought this palette because I don't really use a lot of eyeshadow roducts and I wanted a few colours for party looks. I am so happy I bought this product. The colours are great, really intense and high impact. This is especially good because my skin is Asia, and I find that a lot of eyeshadows just fade away. For maximum results use this with the Urban Decay Primer which really holds the eyeshadow and avoids it creasing.     When I got this product, I was more than excited to use it. I put it on and got many compliments, but as the day went on, it started to fade. The colors in this palette such as Sin and Smog along with the black can create a very subtle and mature look that is noticeably beautiful. Other colors such as Last Call and Polyester Bride are more striking colors that can be fun to play around with.
