This really gets me going! Diamond review

AdvantagesEasy to use,great off road

Disadvantagessee op

"...friend recommended the mothercare glacier urban detour model. I also checked the reviews on this site and as they were all positive decided this would be a good choice. The buggy is sold exclusively by mothercare and costs £160.However I was lucky and managed to get one of last year’s colours for £110.The only difference is that mine is navy blue and has metal spokes and the new models are two tone blue with plastic wheels. What you get for ..." Read review

Urban detour where do you want to go?

Advantagesvery manoeuvrable and light to push

Disadvantagesheavy and bulky to lift in and out of the car

"For all of you out there who would like a very nice three wheeler, which is good in and around town but able to cope with rough ground. Then this three wheeler is for you. I brought this pushchair for my second child, I wanted something that would be able to go over rough ground as found it very hard going carrying my first child on my back in a back carrier. I also wanted some thing that was going to be easy to manoeuvre around the shops too. ..." Read review

the best 3 wheeler around?

Advantageseasy to steer, easy to fold, comfy for baby

Disadvantagesquite heavy

"...a number of shope/websites. The Urban Detour (which is recommended as the best value 3 wheeler by "Which") had been recommnded to me by a number of friends and so, as it seemed reasonably inexpensive, I decided to go for this one. I purchsed a brand new model from eBay for £74.99, although thw same model can be purchsed in store at Mother care (it retails at approx £140). It was extremely easy to assemble; simply click on the wheels, screw on the ..." Read review

Urban Detour Glacier - The Good and The Bad

AdvantagesLovely to push, all terrain, padded, large, stylish

DisadvantagesHeavy and big when folded

"I've owned my Urban Detour Glacier for over a year now and apart from a couple of down sides, I've got to say I love it to bits. It is really nicely padded and so is extra comfortable for my daughter, it has the 5 point safety harness and reclines as much as you need it to, even flat so is suitable for a newborn if necessary. The handle is nice and high, I am quite tall and suffer from a bad back so this has really helped me lots. The shopping ..." Read review

3 wheel urban detour pram birth to 4(single)

Advantagesmobile easy to push

Disadvantagesnone really

"What can I say about this pram but it was a life saver, I bought this pram when I slipped a disk in my neck and struggled to push my other 3 wheeler, this is so easy to push my 4 year old can manage. I can push it up and down kirbs across rough ground, sand included with just one hand. It's as compact as any other big pram and I find it easy to put down and put in the car though someone who is smaller may struggle. It has pneumatic tyres which come ..." Read review

do you know a 15lb newborn

Advantagesnone

Disadvantagestipping over

"I purchased the urban detour just before the birth of my second child (he weighed 6lb 12oz). I took him out in mid Janaury when it was quite windy and the pram kept tipping over, I took it back to my local mothercare store and was told it couldn't be exchanged as it wasn't company policy, to cut a long story short and after many phone calls to the director of mothercare I found out that all mothercare prams that are said to be suitable from birth ..."
