Story line Whilst this game is based on the traditional sims game, whereby you are responsible for every aspect of the day to day life of your alter ego, there is another aspect in that you have an overall objective to complete via a series of numerous mini missions. You've just lost your dead end job as a cleaner and in an effort to get it back you end up in even more trouble. You are sent to jail in fact. It is up to you to convince the detective to let you out on probation. You'll start earning money by shooting hoops on a basketball court on the roof of the jail and use this to put down a ... more

The Urbz: Sims in the city For the Nintendo DS The Urbz: Sims in the city is a life simulation game, with a few RPG elements and a story-based adventure integrated around small objectives you have to follow and entertaining mini games. GBA Game? One glance at the game and you may say, 'it looks familiar…' and that's simply because it is. It's a GBA port of The Urbz: Sims in the city on GBA with a few extra features, mini games, areas and very slightly improved graphics. First of all, you get to choose what type of person you are such as 'rich', 'streetie' or even a 'computer geek' type-of ... more

Advantages Advantages Long, good minigames and missions.

Disadvantages Disadvantages graphics could be better

*Urbz: Sims in the City* I recently bought the urbz: sims in the city, since I loved all the sims games on the PC and the DS sims 2 game, and the Urbz wasn't a letdown. It is similar to other sims games in several ways: you control the sim, have to keep their mood meters up by making them sleep and eat etc., you can interact with other sims to make friends, and you can earn skill points to allow you to progress in your 'jobs'. However this game is different in the way that it isn't open-ended: you have missions to complete to open up new areas of the town or new houses you can buy. In my ... more

    Advantages Advantages Leaves you hooked

Disadvantages Disadvantages Takes time to play

I bought "The Urbz, Sims in the City" at Electronics Boutique for £24.99 for my Nintendo DS. At the beginning of the game you get asked a number of questions that determine which group you belong to in the game. You can be a Richie, an Artsie, a Streetie or a Nerdie. The characters you become friends with during the game also determine your status throughout the game. In order to live you need to earn money, which is where the mini games come in. You can only play each game you have opened once a day. The aim of the game is to no only survive, but also to stop the evil Daddy Bigbucks from ... more

    Advantages Advantages top sims quality

Disadvantages Disadvantages harder to mobve character around(slower than sims2)

Urbz in the city follows on from the sims 2, an excellent game full of mini tasks that encourage you to explore the area and make friends with other characters. Started a bit slow but once i got the hang of it i was addicited. There are 5 missions each with sub areas and two unique missions- plenty to do to keep you entertained Urbz -Sims In The City takes the great gameplay of the Sims and relocates it to an all-new setting. Bi cities move 24/7 and reputation means everything, so you'll have to bold and show some attitude if you want to make it there. Be challenged by your bosses, get access ... more

    Advantages Advantages Long gameplay

Disadvantages Disadvantages Very similar to 'The Sims' GBA

If you've played on the 'Gameboy Advance' version of the Sims you know what you are letting yourself in for, but be assured this is much better! The DS version has the same gameplay as it's Gameboy predecessor and references to the original game are made throughout as well as some character appearances. (remember Dusty Hogg?) Howevger there is much more to do, more places to visit and more people to annoy! You can buy items for your house as in the original Sims game, but the objects aren't as interactive as you would like. Skill points are much easier to obtain - as long as you have some cash ... more

Advantages Advantages Good game play and a wide range of jobs.

Disadvantages Disadvantages the graphics are a bit scrachey.

The gameplay is good with real life trobles. There are many ways to interact. There are some chalanging parts to the game, that only makes it better. As in the other sims games you need to do all the usual things such as use the bathroom take a shower and much much more. This game passes the time . It is a quite long game but all as all role-playing can be. It works well with the touch screen of the nintendo ds. Even though the graphics arn't as good as some other titles on the ds the exelent gameplay and puzzels makes up for all of that. Personaly I realy liked this game I would definateley ... more

    Advantages Advantages great mini games

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Takes too long

This is a must when you get on it you can't get off it again. I've managed to do all of it and now I'm just collecting money for doing paintings, baking and doing wood carvings. he only problem is that once you've done everything you don't want to restart because it takes long time to do it. To get into the club just remember bucket the once and then it lets you in all the time. When you start try and get 100 points with everyone except daddy bigbucks just so then your popularity goes sky high and you get all the zizzles beads plus extra. Also try and keep all the rubbish piles, 3 eyed frogs ... more
