...I did do a wet vax you should of seen the filth that came out - unbelievable! It says that most carpets need two or three washes to really clean. This Summer I hope to clean more carpets. But I have a worn old bedroom carpet that seems to attract dog hair 100%. When we discovered our youngest son had an allergy to dog hair we wanted a solution rather than having to give the dog away. We decided to try a carpet cleaner and as our old hoover was on its last legs opted for a 2 in 1 which would hoover and clean. ...this recently after my old vax died on me. Found this just as easy to use but the main attachment has wheels on it, meaning hardly any pressure can be put on it resulting in the carpets remaining quite wet. Easier for perhaps people who would normally have dificulty in cleaning their carpets. A good day is required for the carpets to dry after using.
