VAX C90-P2-P Power 2 PETS

My first impression was great but sadly lasted only 2 days as the vacuum cleaner stop working. After calling the Customer Service several times Vax send me new filters as they were conviced the problem was I do not know how to use a hoover. After receiving them, the vacuum cleaner lost its power. They sent me a new product to replace it but this one only lasted 1 day. It has a blockage and again the only thing VAX has done for me is sending me new set of filters. Now, the vacuum cleaner has no power even to suck the dust. In my opinion this is one of the best vacuum's I have purchased. Its very easy to maneuver, has very good adjustable suction power and a special turbo brush that is brilliant for picking up animal fur. It is a little on the heavy side, but no more so than other vacuum's in it's class. I think that the build quality is excellent, and the fact it is bagless is a plus, as the dust bowl/jug can be released with one hand, and is very easy to maintain. Great all round hoover, not the cheapest but no so expensive your afraid to use it! Light and easy to manouver, A bit larger than most cylinder hoovers , so not as easy to squeeze into the bottom of a cupboard, but it did need a tidy out any way! I've found it copes very well with short pet hair, and the suction is amazing, goodbye lego :). The dust container is large enought that it doesnt need changed after 5 minutes, but the filter shows up how strong the suction is. What a great hoover, the variable power slide on the back allows you to quickly change when you go from floor to rug, and to boot this machine really does clean!!. It's superb I'm 6ft3 and the extendable hoseis comfortable enough for me to use without hurting my back, the floor attachment effortlessly moves around corners allowing for a qquick job. On the down side the floorplan is quite large so storing it in a cupboard can be a bit tricky unless you put it on it's end (which works too), and all the tools are kept together with a clever little adapter. Being someone that has back issues and had moved into their own place I was given this hoover as a gift and have never looked back. Its a small, light-weighted thing with a hose and flat head that I dismissed as soon as I took it out the box, but once it was put together (which was so easy I didn't need the instructions) it worked wonders. I had a cat and knowing that it was arriving and having had a party the night before left it the way it was and once I'd gone round with it was totally amazed. I should have returned back to Argos what a waste of money. Brought this Hoover because of the strong suction power, I dont have pets. What can i say I had large smile on my face the first few timesi used the Vax. Pleased of the suction and pile of carpet was standing to attention. Works ok for short time AND THEN PROBLEMS?????? Filters blocks very quickly, low suction or none at all. You have to empty the collection box very time you use it. I spent more time emptying and cleaning and washing the filters than vacuuming the floors. Dont buy this hoover, it's cheaper to buy dust pan and brush ... more
