To start with I am a Car Valeter so am used to the Numatic George for wet vacuuming. I needed a carpet cleaner as I have two dogs who run mud around the place like no tomorrow. I bought A Vax Rapide Cleaner In December last year! I paid £160 for it, And also bought a pack of 3 bottles of the conditioner for around £15.. I bought this cleaner as I have a light coloured carpet and I can't stand to see dirty marks on it. Once I unpacked the Vax it was quite easy to put together.. Expecting many great things from vax as i had owned and cherished a vax previous to owning this one, i was led to be a little bit disappointed to be honest as it didn't quite live up to my expections. First of all it didn't hold much water, great i thought it wont be as heavey as my old one when i try to maunover it around my living room but after the third trip to the sink with both of the containers to empty and refill i was getting annoyed. ...

I went out to hire a carpet cleaner from a DIY store but saw this in my local Currys for £100 (Yes £100!!!!). Got it home, easily assembled and gave it a blast. Lifted vegetable oil the dogs has drained into the carpet and pulled out so much grit and dirt you wouldn't believe we had a Dyson. Very easy to use, very versatile (loads of gadgets included) would thoroughly recommend a scout round your local shops for this one, especially if you can get it at that price. ...

It tackes childs wee dog paws ribena dirt and is easy to take apart and clean it leaves the carpets damp not wet and the handy hand held tool works very well on heavy tread areas like stairs. this cleaner is fantastic, i have had mine now for over 1 year and it sits permantly filled ready to go in my cupboard, it has seperate water and cleaning solution tanks it comes apart for easy cleaning, its quite compared to its younger brother. this is so simple to use just fill your bottom tank with neat cleaning solution (this will clean a whole house) fill the top tank with water, switch on and go , all tanks come straight off for easy filling ...
