I bought this piano for my daughter's first Christmas in 2007. It cost £20 from Boots and was in the 3 for 2 deal. It's the same price and in the same deal this year, and available from a wide variety of other stockists; Early Learning Centre, Argos and Amazon being some of them. At the time of buying I was wandering around the store with my then five month old daughter who was not in a happy mood. I took her to the toy section to distract her and plonked this piano on her knee, she looked rather startled, but interested, and began to frown and poke at it. The unhappy noise stopped and was ... more

This is a toy that we inherited from my Auntie as my cousin is about a year and a half older than my youngest daughter so we have had quite a few things passed down from her. The toy is by Vtech and I do tend to like Vtech toys and so do my children, I trust Vtech toys as I have never found a really bad one. I have had a look for the purposes of this review and you can buy this toy currently at Argos for £22.99 ... more

I don't actually remember who got this for my daughter as every birthday and christmas she receives so many gifts I never remember where they have come from! In any case when she was 18 months old she received this as a present and even now that she is 3 she still gets a lot of amusement from it! It has a book element which on one page has shapes, the next page, animals, and on the final page nursery rhymes. These coincide with the 5 keys - red , orange, yellow, green and blue. Switching the pages is easy to activate the different settings so this is simple to do. ~Shapes~ When on this page ... more

Advantages Advantages Many different Features with Nice Music and Lights

Disadvantages Disadvantages It is a Little on the Loud side!

My son received the VTech Sing and Discover Piano as a Christmas gift when he was only 3 months old, the toy is reccomended for 6 months + so he was too young to play with it at the time. He first started properly taking an interest in it when he was about 5 months old and I found that the Lights & Music would nearly always grab his attention. As he still couldn't sit unaided, I would place him in his Bumbo chair which has a tray on the front and put the piano on the tray for him to play with in front of him. This toy has a Brightly coloured Musical Keyboard with chunky keys which suit even ... more
